- On the Day of the Sports Festival -

After Bakugou made his "speech" representing our class, it was time for the obstacle race.

The first part of the obstacle race was the Robo-Inferno race.

(3rd Person P.O.V.)

All of the students take their places in front of this large corridor that leads outside of the the stadium. Once the countdown to start the race ends, everybody rushes through the doorway and end up cramped together. Todoroki quickly realizes that this is the first obstacle the competitors must get through and uses his quirk to freeze some of his opponents' feet for a short amount of time and escapes the crowd with ease. Many students from Class 1-A are able to avoid his attack, including Bakugou, Momo, and Aoyama.

Mineta uses his quirk to bounce off of the balls and closes in on Todoroki, but is stopped by a Villain-Bot that knocks him clean out of the way. Todoroki and the other students notice the army of robots standing before them, including the giant zero-point villains from the entrance exam. While the majority of students stand back in fear, Jayden uses his quirk to knock down the robots in front of him, progressing in front of Todoroki. Jayden had knocked over the robots in such a way that it would block the way of the other students, giving him an advantage. Bakugo using his quirk to fly over the fallen robots. Tokoyami and Aoyama use their quirks to follow close behind him. This makes most of class 1-A have the early lead in the race.

Each of the students fight past the smaller robots, including Midoriya, who uses a piece from one of the larger robots to defend himself, while Momo creates a cannon and shoots down the larger robots, clearing a path for the other students.

The next part of the race is called "The Fall". The students must travel along large stone pillars connected by tightropes without falling into the pit below in order to move on to the next obstacle. Students like Asui, Iida, and Todoroki complete this stage with ease, using their ability to balance to their advatage, while students like Bakugou and Hatsume use their quirks or gadgets to fly over the course. But students like Jayden fall behind, their quirks not being fit for easy balance. Todoroki is the first to complete this stage, with Bakugou close behind him.

The second to last part of the race is called "Minefeild". It's pretty self explanatory, but it's where the students race across a minefeild where bombs are buried and scattered across the field.

Todoroki is the first to reach the finish line, but he's at a disadvantage because he must cross it slowly to avoid getting hit by the mine detonations. This allows Bakugou to catch up to Todoroki and attack him, giving the former the lead. Iida tries to cross the field with his quirk and ends up getting himself bombarded and hit with the mine detonations.

Honenuki and Shiozaki from class 1-B begin to catch up to the group competing for 1st place. Then, Jayden who seemed to be behind suddenly uses his quirk to drags several students back towards the beginning point, including Todoroki and Bakugou, leaving the audience cheering and the mentioned students shocked at the sudden movement. Jayden keeps the students in the air at the starting line and gets a massive head start, letting them go when he gets close to the finish line, paying attention to where he steps, to avoid getting set back by a detonation.

Jayden doesn't notice Midoriya gathering up bombs behind him, and then all of a sudden feels someone kick him in the back, knocking him down, and propelling Midoriya forward.

The ending results end up with Midoriya in an impressive first place, Jayden in a still impressive second place, and Bakugo, who ended up catching up and getting third place.

( Jayden POV - )

Holy shit- I think I accidentally scripted quirk to be way too overpowered- I thought to myself, not that I thought it was a bad thing, but it was totally unexpected. Did I seriously get second place?
