4. Veritaserum

"Okay what have we got here?" Snape says closing the door behind the students and professor.

"Nothing to worry about, Severus." She affirmed looking rather suspicious. "Just, can you do us all a favor and..."

Mcgonnagal kept talking, but Albus' focus was completely out. He stared at the tall, long haired man standing a couple inches from him.
The man who carried his name.

"And Draco here is causing a lot of-

Albus cut professor Mcgonnagal mid sentence.

"Excuse me" he started "are you Severus Snape?" He asked already knowing the answer.
Draco stared at Albus with so much disbelief in his eyes. Albus could've swore he heard a light chuckle coming from Harry's way.

"Yes" He replied confused.

Soon enough, his arms were around the tall man without previous thought.

"Thank you" The boy managed to let out. With a bright smile he turned to Scorpius. "How the hell is this happening?" He mouthed in almost a whisper.

Snape's body hadn't reacted to the hug. His eyes firmly looking straight at the door. Much to everyone's confusion, Albus let go.

"Okay okay, is there something we're missing here?" Harry said confused.

"Severus you never-"
"Professor Snape, Draco" The man corrected.

"Are you ready?" Albus asked looking worried for his best friend. He didn't know how they would react to the news, especially now that the war is becoming a bit intense.

"Yes" Scorpius assured looking down at the vial in his hand.

He gulped the entire liquid trying to suppress a straight face while doing so. Harry and Draco had stopped their discussion to focus on Scorpius.

"Well, now that you've drank the potion, please introduce yourself " Mcgonnagal said.

Taking a deep breath he answered truthfully. "My name is Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy" he looked at Albus for reassurance. "I'm a fifth year slytherin, and son of Draco Malfoy"

He caught shocked faces staring at him, and Draco had gone unnaturally stiff.

He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"You-you are my.. son? What?! I don't understand" he said quickly running out of breath.

"How- oh Merlin I think I'm going to vomit"

The poor boy, now confirmed to be his son, panicked at the sight. He then looked at his best friend as if asking for help.

"I'm ready to take the veritaserum" Albus exclaimed quickly before gulping the veritaserum in his hand, ignoring everyone and everything.

He stared at Draco's face as he waited for the question.

"What is your full name?" Harry asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"I'm Albus Severus Potter" The boy let out. "I'm also a fifth year student from slytherin" he smiled at Scorpius "and I'm Harry Potter's son"
