***Introduction***

My name is Kelsey I'm 17 I live in mullingar in Ireland I have a daughter who's 6months old named Evalynn and her dad Doesn't even know she exist.

he's famous and I haven't spoken to him since the day he left to go audition for X factor and now he's the famous niall horan from one direction that probably doesn't even remember me, I have nobody accept my daughter and my best friend Natalie , my parents kicked me out when they found out I was pregnant, which was probably a good thing anyway.....

I now live in a very small apartment and struggle every day to provide for my daughter, life Isn't great but I manage to get by and appreciate what I have.

I hate niall for what he done, he left without even a goodbye just a text saying we're over and that he's sorry, I tried to contact him to tell him I was pregnant when I found out but he changed his number and email address, we were together for over a year I loved him, he was also my best friend for as long as i can remember, he has been through every thing with me and he just left, it broke me. I try to stay strong but every time I look at my little girl, who has bright blue eyes just like nialls that would make you melt when they look at you, the memories come flowing back she reminds me so much of him and it breaks my heart that shell never get know her dad.

*** Kelsey's Pov ***

I'm always doing this, always late for work I'm lucky they still keep me on. I'm running down the road to shankys, the pub that I work at. I bartend there and also do a few music gigs on the side for the extra money that I Badly need,
having Evalynn costs a lot, she's always growing, needing new clothes that I can't afford. Diapers and food don't come cheap either.

I'm lucky I have Natalie who babysits her for me while I'm working I don't know what I'd do without her she's a life saver she's been through it all with me, niall leaving, finding out I was pregnant, my patents kicking me out and having Evalynn, she's like a sister to me.

I can see just about see shankys now through the lashing rain. there's lots of cars parked outside, must be busy tonight, I'll probably have to do a gig if its busy. Walking In the doors, I give a quick glance around to see if my prediction was right and yes it was because its absolutely packed, Im scanning the bar and I see a good few new faces and most of the regulars.

my eye catches Stephen, my boss and He's motioning his finger for me to come over, fuck I'm screwed this is the second time this week I've been late

"Kelsey your late again second time this week, you can't keep doing this, if it continues we're just going to have to start looking for someone else to replace you , we need you here on time Kelsey this is not good enough" he shouted the last bit causing me to jump a little.

" boss I'm sorry it's my friend she was late coming over and I couldn't leave Ev on her own I'm sorry but I-I-- " He butted in before I could even finish.

"Enough, I don't need excuses if your not going to be here on time you will not be here at all, Kelsey This is your final warning, now go on get to work"

I just stood there like a fool with a shocked look on my face while he walked away. I really thought that this was it that he was finally going to fire me, I left out a huge breath of relief. That was a close one I need to be on time in future I can't afford to lose this job.

I went into the back to hang my coat, I gave myself a quick glance over in the mirror, my mascara had ran slightly down my cheeks and my dark brown hair was a bit frizzy from the rain, there's not much I could do about it but wipe my eyes quickly. I came back out to serve as quick as possible.
