Despite feeling very tired and stressed and that I couldn't keep on going, I kept on going and I finally reached the top of the temple. It was the thought of saving my friends and the world from my god family, Delphino and Tzekel-Kan that motivated me to continue to climb up the stairs and it was the same thought that motivated me go into the hole that took me into the heart of the temple.

The heart of the temple was a big room. Looking at it as I walked around reminded me a bit of the temple Tulio and I stayed at during our stay in El Dorado. The only bits that reminded me of it was the size of room and the way it was built. Apart from that, nothing else reminded me of it. This one wasn't half as beautiful as it had no gold, no colours, no cushions and no curtains.

I tried to find something like a magical object or unusual rays of light or anything that could have helped me end this war, but there was nothing of the kind. All this decaying temple had was rocks and dust, but that didn't stop me from looking. I knew I had to find something soon because I never forgot my friends were still fighting the monsters. I knew all of them were tough, strong, clever and unique in their own way, but I didn't know how long they could keep their fighting up.

I searched everywhere around this room, but I still couldn't find anything. I left no stone unturned... or at least I wouldn't if there were any to turn. When I felt like giving up and there was nothing more I could do, I noticed two things on the floor at the further end of the room. They were just two giant rocky circles on this rough, rocky floor. As I approached them, I studied them. They were just completely identical. I couldn't see anything different about them. They were the same size and none of them had any symbols or scratches on them.

Looking at them made me wonder if these two stones are the things that are meant to stop this war or at least one of them. Deciding that there was nothing else to do, I was about to put my left foot on the left circle, but a magical cloud appeared in front of me, making me fall. As I got up, I saw my family in front of me.

"Step on that stone, Turor, and you will sacrifice your own family as well as yourself," Naror told me.

That did get to me as I always hated sacrifices, but I quickly brushed it off as I decided that the safety of my friends was more important to me. "You are not my family."

"But those pathetic friends of yours are?" Aulder asked.

"Yes, they are," I said. "And they are not pathetic! They are the best things that ever happened to me."

"Well, if you really care about them," Naror told me, "you will step on this stone." He pointed to the one on the right. "You will gain your godhood and join us once again as the family we were meant to be and rule this world together."

"If you don't step on this stone, we will kill all of your friends," Belbur said.

I sighed as I tried to work out what was the best thing to do.

"The sooner you step on this stone, Turor, the better for everyone," Riythur said.

I sighed and prepared to step on the right stone.

"Miguel, wait!"

I stopped and turned to face Delphino.

"I have a better deal for you."

"Delphino, what are you doing here?" Naror demanded. Then he shoved me out of the way before he turned to the rest of my family. "Prepare to strike her down!"

Their hands all glowed with glowing colours.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Delphino said.

"Why shouldn't we?" Aulder demanded

"It will show that you really love and care about your son and not use him an object in your plan to rule the world." Then Delphino snapped her fingers.

I was shocked to see all my friends, including the Kumandra warriors and dragons, cuffed up and being dragged in by Tzekel-Kan's monster soldiers that were holding them. Even my powerful friends like Elsa, Maui and Sisu as well as the Kumandra dragons were in special cuffs and couldn't break free out of them.

"Those are our soldiers!" Riythur cried.

Then we saw Tzekel-Kan passing through my friends, evilly smiling as usual.

"Tzekel-Kan, explain what you are doing!" Naror demanded.

But Tzekel-Kan just smiled.

Belbur gasped. "You are betraying us?"

"After everything we've done for you?" Aulder asked.

"What you've done for me?" Tzekel-Kan laughed. "I think you mean what I've done for you. You wouldn't even become gods if it weren't for me."

Naror gasped. "You are a spy for Delphino? You only helped us become gods so you can trap us and kill us so all the powers go to Delphino?"

"No, not all of it to her," Tzekel-Kan said.

Riythur gasped. "You want to become a god yourself? Why didn't you become one yourself and make us become them instead?"

"Because I had to make sure that mere humans can become ultimate beings of power and continue to live as such. And all of you have proved it. I am sorry that it will not last for eternity for you."

"It will!" Naror roared. "Because our Mortal Son will step on the right stone and become a god and we will rule everything in this world."

"No, he won't," Delphino said. "He will step on the left stone if he wants all of his friends to live as long as they can."

Tzekel-Kan approached me. "Miguel, only you can stop this war. Choose the stone on the left to save your friends."

"Don't do it, Miguel!" my friends kept yelling all at once.

"Choose the stone on the right, Turor," Naror said. "Become a god and I promise that all of your friends will be alive."

"Make your choice and quickly too," Belbur said.

I didn't know who to believe and I didn't know which stone to step on.

"The longer you hesitate," Naror said, "we will kill your friends, one by one. Starting with the youngest." Then he lifted his hand up and Princess Rika of Arendelle was lifted in the air. Then she was flown over to Aulder who was holding a glowing blue sword. When she reached him, he held it at her throat.

"Not my darling girl!" Anna cried.

"You put her down!" Elsa yelled.

"Or what?" Riythur asked. "What can you do in those chains? Only Turor can help her if he makes the right choice."

"You hear that, Turor?" Aulder said to me. "You have ten seconds to make your choice before she dies."

I quickly approached the circles. I took a deep breath as I studied at them. Then I looked at everyone – my family, my friends, Delphino and Tzekel-Kan.

"I've decided who I'm doing this for," I told everyone. Then I turned back around, closed my eyes and jumped.
