"This is for my brilliant son, who has made me so proud", Mom says proudly raising the glass of wine.

" Thank you, Mom", Mom is so happy, I have never seen her this much happy and proud of me. My Mom is not a bad mother, but she is a difficult person, she always expects the best from us, she always wants us to give our career top priority, and there is nothing wrong with that, but sometimes it becomes too hard to live up to her expectations.

" I am so proud of you, Champ", Dad raises his glass of wine.

"Cheers to Nerdy Boy & The Girl with alluring eyes", Sarah says, and We all clink our glasses. Of course, Sarah and I clink our glass of water.

The inspiration for this short story is Luna, and she is also the reason my short story is getting published. She loves me, now I am a hundred percent sure that she loves me, I don't have any doubt about her love for me, but still, I haven't called her.

"Whatever her name is, she was a distraction, because of her, you were unable to focus on your studies and writing",

" No Mom", I stand up," Luna, was not a distraction, Luna was the inspiration for my story, and if it's not for her, my story would never have got published, she is the reason I got chance to thrive in my career", I look at Sarah, "And stop comparing me and Sarah, she is way better than me, she is not coward like me who don't want to be with a girl that he loves more than anything in this world because he is afraid that he will get hurt again because of love", Here I said it. I am afraid to be with Luna because I am afraid to get hurt the same way I got hurt before.
