Chapter 16

My tears were like waterfalls. So this is what first heartbreak feels like. Taehyung just put his arms around me and hugged me. He even played with my sun necklace which relaxed me a lot. He knew I couldn't go back into class so he got his phone out and we listened to music. Suddenly, a very very very very familiar song came on.

"Turn it off" I said quietly so the teachers wouldn't hear because if I had raised my voice I would have screamed.

"This song always relaxes me" Taehyung said, oblivious to what the song meant to me.

"Why do birds suddenly appear everytime you are near?"

I felt my eyes tremble and my body give up. I couldn't move and I couldn't speak. I just had to listen to the song.

"Everytime you are near"

I felt Taehyung look at me. I must have looked like a mess because he gently patted my head but he didn't stop with song.

Maybe this song helped him through rough times.

"Just like me they long to be close to you"

Then all of a sudden, a voice so pure, so magical and deep murmured through out my ear and suddenly I felt protected, I felt safe. All my troubles washed away and it was just me and this voice.

"Why do stars fall from the sky?" The deep voice flowed through my soul and I felt so relaxed. I rested my head and closed my eyes.

"Everytime you walk by"

"Just like me, they long to be close to you" and I couldn't remember anything after.

I woke up and the first thing I saw was a beautifully devasting face staring back at me. I regained my senses and rembered what happened."I can't go back out there...I can't"

"We'll do it together" He held out his hand and I reluctantly took it. He opened the wall quickly. No one was around and it seemed pretty deserted. Suddenly, the bell rang.

"What time is it?" I asked curiously

"Lunch time" he said and then added, "You were asleep this whole time"

"Wow, I must have been really tired" I muttered, remembering my sleepless nights."Who was that guy singer on the song?"

I asked.

"Me" Taehyung replied, looking a bit embarrassed.

"No way, really?" I remarked flustered.

"Yeah, I used to sing myself to sleep when my mum and dad were arguing." he stated.

"You should become a singer,you're the best singer I've ever heard" I claimed truthfully. Hoseok was so  good but I'd never heard a voice quite as magical as that in my life.

"Maybe" he replied shyly "Amway, what you want to eat?" I decided to get a ham and cheese sandwich with some water and

Taehyung only got a doughnut. When we got to the seats, I saw Hoseok sitting down with Suga. He waved at me like nothing was the matter. Like we were still this couple. I whispered to Taehyung,

"Want to eat by the statue?"

"Yup" he whispered back but insisted that Suga can come as well which was fine with me. This may sound a bit extra but Taehyung texted Suga to meet us at the statue and then we went. Hoseok looked confused and went to follow us. Me and Taehyunghid behind a wall right next to the statue and saw Hoseok looking for us there. He, then after some time, left. We then sat down and started eating. Suga ate with us as well. Suga is literally my spirit animal and is honestly the coolest person I've ever met. Sometimes I can't even believe I'm hanging out with him.
