"Sir. The enemy ship is in position." A guard said. Ridley smirked as he watched the ship from the capsule window, "Excellent." He looked towards Eve, with her nodding in response. Within moments, the capsule latched onto the ship, instantly carving into it and creating a pathway through. He zoomed through with Eve not far behind, neither of them caring about how much noise they were making.
"Lieutenant, we've detected a disturbance on the east side." Said a staff member. The lieutenant, an older gentleman, came to his side, and leaned his hands onto the table. "Alright, lemme see it." The staff member enhanced the image and showed a glowing red semicircle near the bottom edge of the ship, showing it had been sawed open. "What the hell...?" He muttered. He turned around and ordered, "Hey get somebody on this."
The screen showed the guards' monitors going towards the site, the lieutenant's hand grazing through his gray hair. Once there, one of the guards piped up. "Sir! We got an unauthorized capsule connected to the ship!" The lieutenant sighed, "Looks like we got intrud-"
"HEY WHAT THE HELL-!"
They heard crackling from their monitors. "What's going on? Hello?" He asked frantically. As more seconds went by, more intelligible noises could be heard.
Screaming.
Pleading.
Crunching.
Tearing.And finally, they heard someone.
"Oh, it's been ages since I've done that!"
Alarms began to sound as the lights turned red, alerting Ridley and Eve as they finished up their carnage. Eve muttered a swear before she began to run away from the increasingly louder footsteps of soldiers. When she looked back, she saw Ridley throwing one of the bodies over his shoulder, a mischievous, yet psychotic, toothy grin on his blood stained face. "What are you doing?!" Eve whispered harshly. "Gathering up some meat shields. Here!" He replied, tossing her another body. She instinctively grabbed it, throwing it over her as well.
Ridley's smile grew wider as the soldiers came into view.
"Time for a bit of fun..."
Their screams echoed through the ship. Crimson blood stained the walls, and streamed into any crevices it could find. Bones snapped in two or more. Soon, the gaping holes in their fragile bodies went dry, leaving nothing but a heap of malodorous flesh.
Soon, the entire ship was a cemetery.
And Ridley never stopped laughing.
