Colored With a Kiss (Jikook)

Part 16

Jimin's POV:

Hobi and I hid while the scary looking men came in and grabbed Jungkook. He was looking in my direction, mouthing "It's OK" over and over.  I was trembling and Hobi had his arms around me.  In a blink we were back in the garden at Jin & Joon's burrow.

Jimin: We have to go back!

Hoseok: First we need to figure out what just happened.  And I think Namjoon might be able to help.

Just then the door opened and it was Tae. He burst into tears when he saw me and wrapped his arms around me.

Taehyung: I was so worried, Jiminie.

Jimin: I'm ok, just a little shaken up.

Yoongi: I figured you would stay with Jungkook for awhile.

Jimin: I would have, but some men came and took him away.

Namjoon: Wait, what?

Hoseok: I think maybe you can help explain what happened, Joon.

Namjoon: What did they say.

Hoseok: They said, "You're under arrest for assault."

Namjoon: Were they wearing blue uniforms?

Jimin: Yes (sniffling). What does that mean?

Tae kept his arms around Jimin and patted his back trying to calm him down.

Namjoon: It means he was arrested.

We all looked at him with puzzled looks.

Namjoon: They're called police. They enforce human laws. Since Jungkook hit your kidnapper, that is called assault.

Jimin: Even though he took me?

Namjoon: Well, the police won't know that.

Yoongi: Yeah and it's not like Jungkook can tell them what actually happened.

Namjoon: Exactly.

Jimin: What do we do? We can't leave him like that.

Hoseok: Could Jimin pretend to be human and tell them that Yeonjun took him?

Jimin: Yes, I could do that.

Taehyung: That sounds risky.

Namjoon: It could work. Did he hurt you?

Jimin: He nearly broke my wrist, look (showing everyone the bruises on his wrist).

Namjoon: That's good. I mean, not good, but good for the plan.

Hoseok: So how should we do this?

Namjoon: We need to go to the police station closest to Jungkook's apartment.

Taehyung: How will you find that?

Namjoon: We can go back to his apartment and I can look on the computer.

Hoseok: Yoongi, we'll need you again. Is that ok (looking between him and Tae)?

Yoongi: Of course. Babe, you stay here with Jin a bit longer, ok?

Jin: Come on Tae. I'll make us some tea and we'll bake some cookies.

Taehyung: (Looking unsure) Ok, but don't be gone as long this time.

Hoseok: It shouldn't take too long, right Joon?

Namjoon: Once we find the station, we just need Jimin to go in and tell what happened. Except for the cage part. It shouldn't take more than a couple of hours.
