Val's POV The gang arrived back all safe and sound. Although they look beat from chasing down John and his gang. This case took a turn with two bodies being found which turns it into a homicide case. Now the investigation got more complex.
"Hey are you okay?" I asked Jay while brushing my fingers through his hair
"I'm okay. Don't worry. All I care about is for you to be safe" Jay says smiling slightly
"Hey, I'm safe where I am. I have the best protectors around" I smiled

"Great! We'll see you at six tonight. Now you two head home" Erin says before skipping away

We both grab our things and headed home. Really thought we'd have a longer shift but I guess not.
As we were walking to the car I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I'm still to early to be going into labor. I guess it's just Braxton Hicks contractions.
"Jay, give me a minute" I say holding my stomach and leaning against the brick wall
"Are you okay? Is it time!?!" Jay panics
"No I think it's just false labor. It doesn't hurt a lot" I slowly exhaled
"I'm taking you to the hospital"
"No no it's okay I'm okay. The pain is gone now"
"Not taking any chances. We're going to med"
With that said, we both got in the car and Jay drove off to med. Once we arrived to med, we went in to meet Will.
"What's up you two. What can I help you with?" Will asks
"Val's got pain. She says it's Braxton Hicks but I want to make sure it's nothing serious" Jay says
"Alright let's check on the babies" Will says
I get on the bed and lay down. I cover myself with a sheet before lifting my dress up above my belly. Will puts some gel on my belly before rubbing the wand around.
"We'll, the babies are fine and are looking healthy. Over all there is nothing wrong. Just false contractions. You're not due for another 2 months" Will says
"Am I suppose to be getting false contractions this early though?" I asked
"Usually they happen a month before the due date. It's rare in this case. Just don't strain yourself and stress yourself out too much" Will says
"Okay thanks bro" Jay says
I take a napkin and wipe the gel off my belly before pulling my dress down and getting off the bed. Jay and I say goodbye to Will before heading home.
Once we arrived home, I ran a hot bath with some essential oils. I relaxed in the tub a bit before Jay decided to join. He sat behind me as I laid up against him. His hands would run up and down my belly feeling the babies kicks hear and there. It was so soothing and relaxing after the long morning.
"I could do this all day" I said as I closed my eyes

"Jay please..." I moaned knowing that was my weak spot
