"That was tiring." Chaerin sighed as Mirae removed her make up.
"But you won!" Mirae cheered, smiling down at the younger girl."I did!" Chaerin cheered along happily.
She got her second win for Birthday on Music Bank, feeling giddy with excitement."Is your back okay now?" Mirae asked patting her cheek gently with the wipes. Chaerin nodded sighing.
" I swear to god I was pulling out my kitchen knives when I saw that on news. Like- Seriously, I would've stabbed every single one of them." Mirae said seriously.
"Calm your ass down miss murderer. We don't want the cops here."
"Shut up Lin." Mirae rolled her eyes as the dancer stood leaning on the door frame. Chaerin smirked looking at the boy.
"Seung-jin bro." She put her fist up for a fist bump.
"You performed well today." He replied, bumping his fist with hers before walking past her towards the mirror behind her."Did I ever tell ya'll that I have the best team?" Chaerin said, smiling fondly.
"Ugh, look who is being sloppy again." Gia said entering the room again, rolling her eyes.
"No seriously. I have the best managers, best make up and hair team, best dancers. Ya'll are such a crucial part of all the wins I get.
You guys are the skeleton of all the performances and M/V's, like without you all I'm just a nobody who can sing, nothing else. People might not see you exactly on screen but you guys are the reason I can be on screen, so like the wins I get are equally yours. Without ya'll i'll be nowhere so I wanted to appreciate it. I'm very thankful, I really am- I'm supposed to be like this, why are ya'll looking at me like that?" She asked in the end looking around as all of them stared at her.
Junho chuckled, looking away, trying to stop himself from tearing up.Mirae visibly sobbed loudly before squeezing Chaerin in a hug. Some of the other dream team members started sniffling too, tearing up at the younger girls appreciation.
As just workers, its rare for them to get appreciated so much. Normally they are just ignored, why you may ask? Because what they do is just their job, they are supposed to be behind the camera. They work day and night trying to make sure our idols look great and are happy.
The dancers are always there on stage dancing with smiles on their faces, even though they know they'll just be 'background dancers' , they find happiness in these jobs, and getting appreciated is what they deserve and what makes them feel more included and worthy. Not every hardwork can be paid back by money."Shut up shortie, I'm actually crying." Brian said, hugging a smiling Junseok beside him, whose face immediately turned into a disgusted one.
"I'm 5'6 now. Shut up." She laughed as she watched both of the make dancers bickering.
"This is why we are a family. A team, Dream Team." Eunbi said.
"Dream team Supermacy!" Eunjae cheered as soon as her sister stopped speaking.
Everyone cheered loudly, causing other artists and Mubank worker walking past their cabin to get startled. Junho covered his ears, shaking his head in disapproval but smiling.<><><>
"Where are you leaving at this hour Chae?" Yeonjun asked pausing whatever he was watching on the TV.
"uh....."
"No meeting Felix at this hour." He narrowed his eyes at her, voice strict.
"Who's meeting Felix?" Soobin asked, walking in with his sweet bread.
"I'm not meeting Felix. Stop assuming." Chaerin snapped.
