The attack on the USJ was a big blow to us all, we were unprepared and had our guard down. As I left the hospital I thought back to the other day when I was patrolling in my vigilante gear, Shigiraki... was he that guy who I met the other day with that large group of criminals. I knew they were up to something, I just didn't think it would end up hurting so many people.
if only I had just taken them down there, maybe midoryia would be alright, and Aizawa and 13...
As I reached the schools front gates I saw Midoryia waiting for me as promised, he was wearing his everyday clothes. a plain T-shirt with the word T-shirt written on it, he had his signature red shoes on as well. He smiled as he waved at me exiting the gates.
"Seraph! Are you hurt? What happened?" he asked frantically as he tried to grab me but kept pulling away, almost as if he thought I was going to break "I'm so sorry I didn't come sooner! They wouldn't let me in and I didn't even know you were here until I left and Allmight rang me!" he said finally grabbing my hand
"I'm just so glad you are safe, we all are" he smiled at me."...So... what happened?" he asked his smile fading
I pulled my hands away from him "Nothing much, that Villain just got ahold of one of my arrows". I looked at the floor "He must have used his quirk to destroy it because it hurt like a bitch" I looked back up at him plastering a smile on my face "but none of that matters now because I'm here. Right?" I smiled
"Right!" he beamed back at me
we began walking down the pathway next to a busy road, we headed in the general direction of his house passing through the main square of the city in the process. I looked at the large screen displayed on the side of a building and listened to the most recent announcement
"up next" the woman on the screen began to declare "An update on yesterdays incident at the UA rescue training centre, where hero course students were attacked there by a gang of villains. According to new police officials, these criminal forces called themselves the 'League of Villains'' investigators have reportedly uncovered that this group have been planning to kill UA teacher and popular hero Allmight since the spring of this year. Police have arrested 72 villains at the scene but the Leagues leader escaped, his whereabouts are currently unknown"
I and Midoryia stood in the same place staring at the large screen
"It's weird isn't it?" I began to speak he looked at me concerned "That 'villain' they are talking about has the same thoughts and views as me... yet I'm here, in a hero school and he is somewhere out there escaping the clutches of the heroes" I looked at the city before me and continued to ponder.
Midoryia stook idly behind me, shocked for word. It was a sudden topic to bring up.
"Seraph, you don't have to worry about stuff like that. You are here because we want you to be and you have a good heart nothing can change tha-"
"Izuku. I want to know."
He stopped at the use of his first name and look directly at me as I turned to finally face him
"if the heroes told you to kill me. Would you?" silence followed as the wind blew against us both, the bustling streets around us didn't stop as I cautiously awaited his answer.
"Hero's don't kill people silly. Come on, my mum will be getting worried about where we are" he said pushing me forward.
Izuku Midoryia, when will you be honest with me?
