As his boat reaches ashore, Jon runs his hands through his cold and damp hair. He lets out an exasperated sigh to relive himself of the tension but obviously, that didn't work. He was tired, the journey to Dragonstone wasn't an easy one, but more than anything, he was anxious. After all, his people were relying on him. His family relied on him. It's not everyday you meet and try to convince a Targaryen to become an ally.
Despite the cold weather, the island was beyond beautiful. The sand was golden and the cliffs stood high. Jon finally understood why so many fought to claim Dragonstone. In the distance, he noticed a long, grey, mountain of steps, leading to a tall and proud castle built by the Targaryens themselves. He was fascinated but also intimidated.
Maybe that was the point, he thought."Welcome, bastard of Winterfell!", exclaimed Tyrion with a smirk on his face.
"Thank you, dwarf of Casterly Rock.", said Jon sarcastically with a pinch of spite. They laugh as their hands meet to greet each other. Their entourage follows them as they start walking together towards the steps and reminiscing on old memories. They talked about how much their lives changed since last their paths crossed.
"I'm curious. How did a bastard of Winterfell come to become King in the North?", asked Tyrion.
"How did a Lannister come to serve Danaerys Targaryen?", responded Jon.
Tyrion grinned, "I guess we have come a long way.".All of a sudden, a loud, piercing roar fills Jon's ear and he notices a large shadow hovering above them. Jon and his entourage fall to their knees petrified as a large beast swiftly flies past them. Drogon, one of the queen's dragons, or as she likes to call them, children. Drogon is then joined by his two brothers, Viserion and Rhaegal. Jon couldn't believe his eyes. Three full grown dragons had just flown past him. He was astonished by the sight of them. They were magnificent. Beautiful, but just as scary. For centuries dragons didn't exist, they always felt like a myth, but here they were, soaring right above them. Dragons hadn't even crossed his mind when he made the decision to meet Danaerys.
Jon, Davos and his entourage were still on the ground, trying to comprehend what they had just seen, when suddenly, Tyrion put out his hand offering a helping hand. "Might as well get used to them.", said Tyrion. Jon grabbed his hand and got up, his legs still shaking. "Come on! She'll be waiting for us! The Mother of Dragons doesn't have all day!". They continued towards the castle.
After walking, for what felt like days. They finally reached the gates of the stone castle. As they entered the castle, everything around them turned grey and dim. Jon and Davos were led straight into throne room, where Jon noticed a silver headed, petite woman sitting smart on the throne. She looked so young, just around Jon's age. Her hair was done neatly but foreign and her dress was dark like the night sky. As they moved closer, Jon noticed how beautiful she was. She was unlike anyone Jon had ever seen. She had green eyes that could pierce a man's soul, skin as fair as parchment and lush red lips.
Jon didn't realise but he was now staring, very much in awe of her. Danaerys and him continued exchanging silent looks when all of sudden, Tyrion cleared his throat. Missandei, the queen's most trusted advisor and friend announced all her names and titles leaving Jon and Davos even more intimidated and confused than they were before. Dany glared at them, strong and certain. Davos then awkwardly announced Jon, simply as King in the North.
"So, my lord, have you come to bend the knee?", asks Dany calmly.
"Forgive me, I know I'm in no place to speak, but Jon Snow is King in the North, your grace, he's not a lord.", says Davos
"This is Ser Davos Seaworth, your grace", announced Tyrion.
"Forgive me, Ser Davos, I was never given a formal education, but I could've sworn the last King in the North was Torhen Stark, who bent the knee to my ancestor Aegon Targaryen. In exchange for his life and the lives of the Northmen, Torhen Stark swore fealty to House Targaryen in perpetuity, or do I have my facts wrong?", says the Mother of Dragons.
"I wasn't there, your grace.", replied Ser Davos
"Of course not. But still, an oath is an oath. And perpetuity- what does perpetuity mean, Lord Tyrion?"
"Forever."
"Forever. So I assume, my lord, you are here to bend the knee?"
After a moment of silence, Jon blurted out, "I am not."
Dany is caught off guard but quickly and sternly asks, "Oh. Then why are you here?".
"Because I need your help, and you need mine.", says Jon

The rest of the scene is as it is in showed in the episode. Onto their next scene..
...
Jon was confused about how he felt about Dany as a ruler. She was strong, determined and cared for her people, but, she also was a Targaryen. How could he trust her after everything he's been told about Targaryens and what they did to his grandfather? He made his way down the grey steps of the castle when he suddenly spotted Danaerys peering at the ocean ahead. He made his way to her and couldn't help but notice the look in her eyes. She was just a girl. Exiled, betrayed and so much more.
She could've easily taken King's Landing with her men and dragons, but she hadn't, he thought.
There was definitely more to her than what he was told.Dany notices Jon's shadow and turns towards him. Jon was caught off guard, he was staring at her. He looks down.
Dany, slightly smiling, "You know I'm not going to let Cersei stay on the Iron Throne?".
"I wouldn't expect you to.", replied Jon
"And I haven't changed my mind about what kingdoms belong on that throne."
"I haven't either.", replied Jon with a new found confidence.
"Tyrion spoke to you?", asked Jon
"He is my hand."
"He's enjoys talking."
"We all enjoy what we're good at."
"I don't."
Dany turned and shot a quick look at Jon. It wasn't one of anger. She was reminded of a conversation she had with an old friend.
Dany took a deep breath, " I will allow you to mine the dragonglass. Any resources or men you need, I will provide for you."
Jon was taken aback. He didn't think she would agree. "Thank you, your grace."
He took a second before asking, "So you believe me then, about the Night King and the Amry of the Dead?"
Dany sighed and looked ahead at the ocean, "You better get to work, Jon Snow."
Jon, slightly embarrassed, nodded and turned to walk back towards the castle.Dany turned to watch him as he walked away. She was intrigued.
He's humble, kind and brave. He seems like a good man. Why would he speak of something so ridiculous? She thought. He was different from other men she had come across. He wasn't hungry for power or lands. All he wanted was to save his people. But from what? She couldn't understand no matter how hard she tried.
