The cubicle Y/N was using now was nothing like the office she was used to. Eight times smaller, surrounded by noise and without a door. She didn't mind it. It was only temporary, she kept repeating herself. And even if it wasn't she didn't care.
Y/N had grown in that building. Most of the memories she had were inside those crystal walls. Running around the halls, helping make copies for everyone, shaking the vending machines in the break room waiting for a free snack to fall. She loved the place.
She knew the name of each employee in every floor. They knew her as well. Not just by name, but because she was involved in every area of the business. She cared for all of them, and they knew it. So, the next day, when they saw her walking into the cubicle with a cardboard box with her things in it, they were as surprised as they were confused. She smiled as they watched her make her way to the new office. 'It's only temporal', she told herself.

Two floors up, Henry swung from side to side on his desk chair. His mind anywhere but there. He was beginning to have second thoughts about his decision. Y/N was right, he had been impulsive. Why did he had to be so temperamental? He shouldn't have done that.
"Why is some weird dude in Y/N's office?" Ria questioned bursting into her brother's office. "Where's she?"
"She's on a different floor now." He said rubbing his eyes with his left hand.
"What did you do?" She asked through gritted teeth, throwing her purse on top of the coffee table beside her. Henry instinctively ran his hand trough his hair.
"Why do you always assume I'm responsible for everything?" He replied with another question.
"Because you usually are." She told him.
"It's a long story." He said, shaking his head.
"Summarize it for me then." She asked.
"Can you believe Y/N only helped me into the business because her shares were at risk?" Henry asked his sister placing his right forearm on top of the desk.
"Yeah. And?" Ria said.
"Wait... You knew?" He questioned.
"Of course I knew, unlike you I've actually been around the Company for a while. I admire that woman." She told him shaking her head. "It was kind of a dick move from our father if you ask me..." She added.
"What do you mean?" Henry asked her.
"You know, it's a really long story." She answered using his own words. Henry stares at her raising one eyebrow. Filling her lungs with air, she continued. "He made her sign the contract the moment she stepped into the Company; right after Mr. Y/L/N passed away." She told him. "I mean she was just a child then. She couldn't have known. When she did, she tried to get an annulment but it was almost impossible so she got stuck with it. She never wanted to force you into anything. And I don't think she cares that much about losing her shares. She only wants to keep Patton at bay, because if that guy becomes a major shareholder -the major shareholder- then we can all say goodbye to the Company. She's just trying to protect her family and ours. If she didn't tell you maybe she didn't think he'll use that against her. Or maybe you never gave her the chance." She spoke, but Henry remained silent. Deeply lost in his thoughts.
"Please tell me you didn't give him your shares." Ria asked.
"Not as much as he asked for...." Henry said nervously scratching the back of his neck.
"You did?!" She asked furious. "My God, Henry! How many?"
"Forty-five percent?" He replied.
"Which is about...." Ria said doing the math in her head. "Okay, I think we're good." She told him. "Don't you dare give him any more." His sister warned him.
