The next six months went by filled with hard work. Henry went from the guy that delivered documents, to assistant to the manager in record time. And it had nothing to do with the fact that he was a heir to the Company, or that he was currently dating the CEO. Y/N had seen him working harder than ever. He was usually the first to arrive and the last one to leave. Most times because he waited for her to finish her work, but let's not detract from it. Everyone knew him now, not as Mr. Cavill's son anymore but as Henry.

"Ready to leave?" He asked entering his girlfriend's office like it was his own.

"Just about..." Y/N replied closing the tabs on her computer and quickly getting up from her seat and walking towards Henry. He held her Burberry raincoat up.

"It's pouring outside." He commented helping Y/N put it on.

"I've been so busy I haven't noticed." She said looking outside her office's glass wall as she turned to face him.

"Ready to go home?" Henry asked wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Yeah." She replied placing a hand at the nape of his neck and bringing him face closer to hers to kiss him.

A few weeks ago they had decided it was time to move in together. They were basically living together in two different houses. Henry would often spend the night at her place, or Y/N would spend the night at his place. It was ridiculous. That's why three days ago they had made it official and finally bought their first home together.

A home that was now filled with cardboard boxes. Anyone else in their position would've hired someone else to do the arranging for them. Instead, Henry and Y/N decided they wanted to do all the unboxing. They wanted to make that place their own, and doing it themselves added a nice flavor to the whole process of moving in together.

"What's in this one?" Henry asked pointing towards one of the boxes on the floor.

"I'm not sure. I didn't pack that. I think my mom sent some of the stuff that I left at the family home." She told him not moving from the spot where she was. "Open it..." She said focusing back on what she was previously doing.

Grabbing a pair of scissors, Henry took the box and cut some of the tape that was keeping it closed. Inside, he found all kinds of things. From picture frames, to books, diaries, pens. Everything seemed old, from when Y/N was young and still lived in her parent's home. But one thing in particular caught his attention. A decolored piece of plastic.

Picking it up from inside the box, he realized his assumptions were right. It was a yellow ring. But not any ring, it was the plastic piece from the very well known Ring Pop. He remembered it well. A smile formed on his face, as his eyes travelled from the plastic piece in his hand to the woman eight feet away from him.

"What was it?" Y/N questioned still focused on placing her books in order on the built-in bookshelves on the living room.

"You still keep the plastic ring I gave you years ago?" He asked with a grin, her head turning around to face him faster than lightning.

"Yeah," She timidly admitted. Her face turning red as she looked through some of the other boxes. Once she found what she was looking for, Y/N raised it in the air for Henry to see. "I kept this one too." She confessed showing him the blue plastic ring he had given her six months ago.

"Well, that's curious." He smiled approaching her, nervously playing with the plastic ring in his hand.

"Hey! You kept our tree house picture, you're in no place to judge." Y/N pointed out in her defense, making him chuckle.

"What I'm trying to say is, I might have a third one to add to the collection." Henry said wiggling the plastic piece in his hand.

"Another Ring Pop?" She asked taking the plastic ring he carried in his hand. "Did you buy a bag of this and decided to give me one each time we achieve a milestone?"

"Although that would've been a brilliant idea, this one's a little bit different." He replied reaching to one of the back pockets of his jeans. "I just hope you can keep this one for many more years than the plastic ones." He added getting down on one knee.

"What?" Y/N asked with surprise, biting her lip not knowing what to do. A smile appeared on Henry's lips as he looked up at her.

"I've known you my whole life. You were my best friend, my partner in crime, the one I always wanted to be around, since day one. And even after all this time you still are. I've met a lot of people during this years and no one has ever come close to the place you hold in my heart. You're fierce, smart, confident, funny, gorgeous. You're all I ever wanted. Even when I didn't know what I wanted, I knew I wanted you. I still do. I still chose you every morning when I wake up and I know I will for the rest of my life. I just hope you'll be there by my side every day when I do. I can't imagine my life without you." He said. "That's why I wanted to ask: Y/N Y/L/N, I love you. Would you marry me?" He asked, but Y/N couldn't manage to say a word. "I know it's not as romantic as you deserve. And I would've love to plan something different but..." He started saying feeling insecure because of her silence, even if it only lasted for a second.

"Looks like I'm not the only one that rambles." She commented with a light chuckle, her voice breaking up a little due to the rush of emotions. "Yes." She nodded as tears of joy ran down her cheeks. "Yes!" She repeated chuckling at how excited she was.

Clumsily, Henry took the ring and placing it on her finger he stood up. Looking into her eyes for a split of a second, he closed the distance between them with a kiss. His right hand caressing her cheek while his left arm wrapped around her waist bringing her closer.

"Do you always carry an engagement ring around? Or are you just happy to see me?" Y/N joked wiping her face with both hands. Henry shook his head smiling at her.

"I bought it today." He explained. "I planned to do something much more romantic. A surprise..." He said. "I just couldn't resist. I couldn't wait any longer, so I did it. Spontaneously." He shrugged. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."

"I love you." Y/N told him planting a kiss on his lips. "It was perfect. Everybody needs some spontaneity every now and then."

"I love you too." He said giving her a peck. "I can't believe we didn't do this sooner." Henry said lifting her hand and kissing it too.

"Well you were away for a while." Y/N replied. "And then things got weird between us and..." She said, but he kissed her one more time interrupting her.

"I can't wait to start a family with you." Henry commented placing a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Maybe add a few more members to it."

"Like a dog?" Y/N asked giggling, as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Yes." He replied. "And some little Cavills." He added, his eyes shining brighter than ever. Filled with excitement and joy.

"Not until we're married mister." She joked playing with his hair. "But we can practice in the mean time." She whispered in his ear.

"I like how you think, Y/L/N." He replied lifting her over his shoulder taking Y/N by surprise.

"The bed isn't even made yet!" She yelled chuckling as he carried her upside down.

"Who said we needed a bed?" He replied and Y/N swore she could hear the smug smile on his face as he spoke.
