"Looks like they just finished killing tonight.."
Every detective has to take note on every action the person makes, whether if it's suspicious or not. The Detective must check his/her surroundings every second, if one does not use awareness then he/she will not be able to take action if a certain event happens.
Jack and the other me just finished reaping the last person for tonight's job, and it looks like my other me is waiting for what Jack orders her to do.
She's definitely lost her sanity.
Although not being able to hear their words clearly, it looked like Jack wanted the other me to go home since the job is done.
Tomorrow evening is the final night for her job.
The other me started to walk away from Jack, I assume that she's going back to her apartment. After the other me disappeared from my sight, Jack went inside the abandoned house.
I'm able to spectate this event since I'm above a building, a 4 story building which I is far enough that I can see and almost hear what they're doing.
"Time to move I guess..", I said to myself.
I jumped from the 4 story building and landed quietly, I'm able to do this because back on my younger days my feet and legs had the ability to suppress and release strength.
I guess this is a blessing, but I could also call this a skill or talent..
I tried sneaking inside the house to do just one thing, get the cards.
I attempted to steal the cards from Jack many times already. 3 nights ago on this abandoned house and on the same night, I attempted to do the same thing but failed because I was too early and they haven't started to reap yet at that evening. Although it was also a win since Jhon, as expected, started to get worried about me and started his own secret investigation.
And thanks to that, I was able to inform him about a little bit of my plan and I hope he's doing the last day preparations.
"Doors are noisy..", I whispered to myself.
Doors are noisy so I didn't use it to get inside the house, but the windows are also barricaded so there's no other way for me to get in..
'There must be some other way..', I thought to myself as I scanned my surroundings.
After checking outside the house for a minute, I found some broken pieces of wood which turned out to have a passageway after I got rid of the wood. And come to think of it, this is also the spot where Jhon hid when Jack and the other me were about to go out 3 nights ago..
I inspected it using my phones flashlight to see if there's anything suspicious about the passageway, and after inspecting it and concluding that there are no dangers in the passageway, I decided to use it to sneak inside the house.
The passage way is only 20-30 centimeters wide, quite enough for a person like me to fit and crawl inside. Although, I do wonder where this leads me.. I do hope it leads me inside.
Crawling inside with my phone really sucks, I do wish I had an ordinary flashlight so that I can just put it in my mouth. But I guess the brightness of this phones flashlight is enough, also the ceiling of this passageway is already the floor of the house. If by chance I had a normal flashlight and I kept on crawling, there would be a scenario where Jack would notice the lights and will eventually catch me.
But with this phone, I can just flip it down to the ground whenever I hear footsteps or creakings above me.
Few seconds passed and I heard creaks above me, so I decided to flip my phone down and stopped my breathing. Stopping my breathing is another way for me to hide, because there's a possibility that he has sharp senses and since the atmosphere of this place is really quiet, he's going to hear my breathing and will search for it.
I'm just glad that he's not able to hear heartbeats though..
