3rd Person's POV

Night. Neji hides behind a tree, using Byakugan to observe. Suddenly, something rustles in the bush about 150m away from him. He makes a sign that they should take action. On a tree not far from that, Shiyuki nods.

A wild boar rushes out from the bush, aiming at the field. It is kind of big, with a length of about two meters. Quickly, it runs across Neji's location. Wasting no time, he attacks it.
"Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm!!"

The robust airflow sends it flying toward the prepared net. Shiyuki swiftly ties the net up. She jumps down from the tree and puts her thumb up with her teammate.
"Nice!"

Neji is about to smile at her when he promptly puts her in his arms and shouts in a nervous tone.
"Shiyuki, Wind chakra!"
With these words, he uses 'Rotation'. Shiyuki understands that they're in danger. She releases her sharpened Wind chakra and mixes into his. They form a 'Rotation' covered by razor-sharp chakra which can cut anything nearby.

A loud smash. The boar roars. It is thrown to a tree. Neji stops the 'Rotation' and releases Shiyuki from his arms. She looks around to see what happened. It turns out that the boar dismantled the net and flashed into the pair. Neji saved her. Shiyuki peeks at her teammate and speaks with the tiniest voice.
"T-Thank you."
"You are welcome." Neji tilts his head and smiles.

They both come to the unconscious animal to check it out.
"Woah, arrow! It was injured!" Shiyuki yells. She hurriedly runs to the boar. "Hyuga, help me!"

Neji's heart squeezes at the way she keeps calling him 'Hyuga' as if they're strangers. He doesn't want to be called like that by her. He misses her sweet voice. He's craving being called 'Neji-kun' once again. He slightly frowns and pouts.
"Call me by my name like you once did, then I'll help you."

'What the hell are you asking for!' Shiyuki screams in her mind. She winces. Ok, she'll do it herself. However, she stops mid way. This beast is huge. If she pulls the arrow out, it will go crazy. Can she handle it?

Shiyuki sighs. She has no other choice.
"Neji-kun, would you please lend me your hand?" She grimaces and looks away. Her voice shakes as she tries to speak in an adorable tone as he wishes.

"Your wish is my command." Neji is merry like a child. He quickly comes to Shiyuki's side and helps her control the boar.
"Ready? 3... 2... 1!" Shiyuki swiftly pulls the arrow out of the animal. "H-Hey! Nab it!!"
The boar goes crazy. It struggles and bawls as if it has lost its mind. Shiyuki quickly heals it.
"Calm down! Calm down! Just a moment!"

After being healed, the beast looks at the duo for a while, then it leaves. Neji and Shiyuki look at each other, confused. Next day morning, they help the villagers build a stronger fence. That afternoon, they say goodbye to them and turn back to the Leaf.

"Hey hey, how was your mission with Neji?!" The two-bun girl excitedly asks Shiyuki.
"It rained at night and I didn't bring my tent, so..."
"Aha~ So you slept with-"
"NO! I slept and he guarded me!!" Shiyuki quickly cuts Tenten's sentence.
"Heh~ Did you two do anything~?" Tenten glances at her friend with a smirk. Her index fingers poke at each other, implying something.
"Hell no!!" Shiyuki blushes. She doesn't even understand why she is blushing. She hates him, doesn't she? Could that because his aroma that she's been longing for together with his loving treatment has calmed her brokenness down recently? Or she still loves him and she can't accept that truth?
"Ah, it's your crush!" Tenten's face brightens up. "Go for it, Shiyuki!" She pushes Shiyuki very hard.

Shiyuki tumbles toward with a shriek. Her face lands right on Neji's chest. She feels some warm fingers gently touch her back. He is trying his best not to hug her tightly. She blushes and puts her head up to look at the boy.
"Shiyuki, what's up?" Neji raises his brows and asks with a smile.
Shiyuki's eyes shut. She pushes the Hyuga back and runs away. She chases her friend.
"Tenten!! How dare you!"
"Your face screams 'hell yesss'!!"

Neji watches his awngy snowflake chasing Tenten, smiling.
"Hey, Neji. Have you confessed?" Beside him, Lee raises his voice.
"... I haven't. She hates me." Neji looks down to his feet. The truth cuts his happy feelings off.
"You know that Shiyuki loves you, don't you? Her love is continuous, she's never stopped loving you. She's just overwhelmed by brokenness. If you apologise in time, perhaps she'll open her heart once again. Now or never, before it's too late."

Neji sighs. He closes his eyes, not knowing what to say.
"I have faith that she'll give you a chance. She's waiting for your apology. If you hesitate, you'll regret it for the rest of your life." Lee continues.

'Shiyuki... I wonder whether you're waiting for me or not...? Do I deserve it? Will you forgive me?' Neji thinks to himself.

"Tonight."
"That's our Neji!" Lee grins with his thumb up. "Good luck!"
Neji looks up in the sky. That warm sunshine is just like her smile, which he's been longing for.
'Shiyuki, I'm coming.'
