Over the veil is where a ghost haunts;
This ghost has been forgotten by all,
But forgotten by none.
Their grave waits still, decaying in
The ever-passing time of Earth.
The lonely ghost stares at the brick
House, wondering how their time
Ended so abrupt.
Now they're waiting, watching as time
Moves on as though they didn't exist.
The ghost fears the day they fully fade,
No one remembering, no one coming to their aid.
As the ghost stares at the brick house,
they can only pray to not be forgotten next to their grave.

This is just one of the poems I made up when it was midnight. This poem is meant to represent the loneliness and fear some of us in the world fear.
Whether it be the phobia of being forgotten,or even just not wanting to be alone in the first place. The ghost is supposed to represent the person/people who are just shy or introverted in general. Because of this, they don't have many friends and certainly don't talk to many people. This leads the person/people to fear being forgotten.The 'ghost' can also be seen as someone who's quiet, and so are easily forgotten and left out of activities they like/dislike.
Originally, this was truly just supposed to be nothing but a random poem; I decided to publish it on here, though.
Remember, you ALL are worth it and are loved dearly.
