Name: Amber Flare (prefers it to be just "Amber")

Type: Pegasus

Gender: Female

Cutie Mark: A lighted match with a yellow glow surrounding the flame

Personality: Short-tempered, stubborn, daring (dauntless)

Backstory: Growing up,  Amber was very close with her 2 siblings, Campfire and Flame Feather, especially when their parents met with an accident and passed away, leaving their 3 young foals to fend for themselves. They could only rely on each other to survive, and when they started getting older and more independent, that was when something in Amber clicked. She realised that one day, she'd be left to survive on her own as she knew her siblings would leave her to fulfill their dreams and aspirations. Reality hit her hard, even more so when the eldest child of the family left her younger siblings to "experience the land and beyond". During that time, Amber's emotional stress took a toll on her and she became bitter towards anyone who approached her, even her brother. This played a part in making Amber the stubborn and short-tempered mare she is later on in her life. Thankfully, while she was still in her bitter (and might I add partially depressed) state, she met Moonbeam Raylai (just Moon or Ray will do) and slowly developed a...Liking for him. He had had a crush on Amber for the longest time, so he was on cloud 101 when he asked Amber to be his SSP and she said "Yes! :)". No, I mean, literally. Moon fainted right after they became SSPs. Anyway...Amber meeting Moon and later on becoming his SSP was the turning point in her "cruel life" as she'd have said. Unlike her fiery nature, Moon could calm her down, just like the serene rays of moonlight that sneak through the clouds at night. Although a daunting task, he gradually managed to "cure" Amber of her depression, and also made her more friendly towards others. Of course, Amber still kept some of that stubborn character inside her. Typical. It didn't take long for Campfire and Moon to become close friends, sharing similar hobbies and passions. It's also partially because of how much Amber changed for the better with Moon around, but don't tell Moon that. When Campfire finally thought Amber was ready to go up against the world (much to her delight), she instantly knew where to go-She would find her sister. It took a while, but together with Moon's help, she managed to track down Flame Feather, who had settled down in Las Pegasus, where she'd take part in races in the sky. That was her talent after all. Anyway, when Amber found Flame, she dragged her older sister back to Cloudsdale where the 3 siblings had a reunion for the first time in forever! However, reunition didn't last very long-Flame was reluctant to miss too many races, and Amber wanted to travel across Equestria. This left Campfire alone in Cloudsdale, but that didn't really bother him. He was a camp instructor, sharing his love for camping in the outdoors surrounded by the fauna and flora with the little ones who took part in those camps. Fortunately for Campfire who  was too proud to admit that he missed his sisters company, Amber and Flame would drop-I mean, fly by every few weeks, both knowing that their true home shall forever remain in Cloudsdale.
