It had been a month since Damian had gone rouge and Jon just disappeared, Dick and Tim were sent to the Memorial Hospital by Bruce to check out a call Gordon had placed with Bruce. Once they arrived they entered through the seventh floor window where they were greeted by Gordon and Montoya. They lead them to the ICU wing where the beds were filled with members of the Legion of Doom.

"What the hell happened" Dick asked

"They sustained a lot of damage, and are critical but the attacker left a signature" Gordon said

"Signature, they signed their name" Tim questioned

"No they were branded" Montoya said showing Dick and Tim the Branding on Jokers chest

"We know who did this" Tim exclaimed unknowingly

"You do, how?" Gordon asked

"Look at it, this half is the Robin insignia and the other boy is Supermans symbol or more likely Superboys" Tim replied taking a picture of it

"So Robin and Superboy did this, why?" Montoya asked

"No just Robin, they killed Superboy" Dick replied

"We need to keep this under wraps, if Gotham found out their heroes were putting criminals in near death scenarios there would be riots" Montoya stated

"Not everyone will react that way, some might agree with his methods and call for that to be the way we deal with them" Dick said

"Then find him and stop this madness" Gordon ordered

"On it, when these start to wake send them straight to Arkham" Dick exclaimed

The two ran and left through the window they came through, and headed to a nearby rooftop.

"I thought we concluded Damian was working with them so why is he attacking them" Dick exclaimed

"Maybe that was wrong maybe it's just Talia he is working for and the League of Shadows is wiping the rest of them out" Tim replied

"If he was completely with her I don't think the branding wouldn't be so personal to him" Dick stated

"What if the Damian we brought home was a clone and Talia always had the real one" Tim questioned

"No Jon would have noticed" Dick replied

"They were apart for two years, I don't know if he would have" Tim stated

"Hey losers your needed downtown" Cass said

"Downtown, great directions where?" Dick asked

"I'll be nicer and send coordinates be ready for a fight" Babs stated

"Great, I had plans" Tim sighed

"We'll get you to Bernard" Dick smirked

Tim just went red in the face and the two dove off the building and headed to the coordinates Babs sent them. Once they arrived they happened upon Cass, Jason and Steph in the middle of a fight with Assassins.

"Hey your theory is most probably right" Dick exclaimed

"I am rarely wrong" Tim stated

"Your wrong most of the time" Jason said

"Hey can we cool it with the fighting each other there are more pressing matters to be paying attention to" Cass stated

"What has you in a mood?" Dick asked

"Dick have you really not learnt when to shut up?" Steph questioned

"No, he hasn't" Tim replied dodging a sword

Meanwhile somewhere outside Gotham
Talia walked with two guards either side of her down a dark decrepit damp stone hallway, the only sound being her feet hitting the ground. She walked towards a reinforced wood door and entered it.

"Ms.Al-Ghul the process is slower then anticipated the boy has fortified his mind. We can't get in" Tetch stated

"Are you sure it to do with his DNA" Talia asked

"Quite sure, his kryptonian DNA has nothing to with it" Tetch replied

"The boy was fine but as soon as his subconscious felt the Hatter here poking around it began to defend him. We need metaphorical Kryptonite to break through his defence system" DeVoe stated

"You make it sound like it's my fault" Tetch exclaimed

"You could have been more careful" DeVoe said

"And our other project" Talia asked

"Yes your son, he is still in a coma and I don't believe anyone suspects he never actually returned and has been here the whole time" DeVoe stated

"When can we wake him" Talia questioned

"As soon as we have the boy of steel, our technology works but as Mr.Wilson's outbursts have shown us, emotion can override technology and love is the most potent therefore we must have the boy of steel, if what you have told us is true, to have your son do exactly as he is told" DeVoe smirked

"Good work Mr.DeVoe we will soon rebuild the world to the Legions standards, now I must discuss strategy with what remains of our numbers after the clones massacre to create a plan to break them out of police custody. Oh and Professor Thawne will be standing guard in case we have any unwanted visitors and I am sure he would be more then happy to help if required" Talia stated leaving the room

"I know how to infiltrate the boys head" Thawne stated

"You do now, and what do you know of the mind" DeVoe asked

"Use the Al-Ghul boy and use him as a back door into the boys mind" Thawne replied

"Your suggesting we link both their unconscious minds and ride into Superboys mind with the Al-Ghul boy" Tetch suggested

"That might work" DeVoe stated

"Your apology is accepted" Thawne said

The villains continued their work while Talia continued to send squadrons of Assassins into Gotham to ready for a full fledged attack on the city so it could be claimed in the name of the League of Assassins. Slade was watching the Batfamily while they fought the Assasins but he was also sent to keep an eye on Damian's clone to ensure he was carrying out his duties to the League properly.
