A very long time ago there was an empire named Dizia. This Empire was divided into five clans, Theiya, the capital, Ospea, Katros, Drenia, and Atron. Our story begins in Ospea, where we meet the eldest daughter of the Ospean clan, Diana, a very beautiful and witty woman, desperate to gain her so desired freedom, and the young Lord of Drenia Arthur II, a noble man with expectations of one day traveling the world and learn new things. Although different in so many ways these two could not be more alike, both were very ahead of their time, and could not fathom out what was yet to come.

And so the day that I had been dreading for my entire life had finally arrived. The day that the oldest sons of our four neighboring clans would duel for my hand in marriage. Mother had prepared me all of my life for this day, it saddens me that she isn't here to see it. Since her passing things haven't been the same. Father has been warning me all week so that I don't make a fool of ourselves in front of the whole kingdom. He knows that I don't wish to marry some brute that doesn't even know me well enough to see me as more than a mere servant of the land, and only cares how I look. Besides, I think these kinds of manners are rather old-fashioned and unnecessary, but there is not much I can do now, or is it? I must rush if I want this plan to work.

Father and I arrived at Ospea at dawn, a lovely city, known for its smart merchants and connections with other clans through the sea. Being a coastal city has its perks. It's much more lively than Drenia, we don't have that much contact with other clans. It's nice to get a breath of fresh air and see new things, and at least I get a break from father. Don't get me wrong I love the man, but sometimes he can be a bit much, "A young lord must do this, a young lord can't do that" I know he means well but it's really a lot of pressure just on one person. At least I have some time alone with my own thoughts while I bring our horses to the city's stables, while he finds a place to spend the night.
