seraphina snape.

Red.
Red flames.
Red blood.

The whole house was engulfed in flames.

Guests from every corner of the room shrieked in fear, running in different directions.

Lorenzo and I broke away from our hug.

He didn't move and neither did I.
We were both frozen in shock.

The flames grew as seconds passed.

My mouth widened but it wasn't because of shock. It was in awe.

I always had a strange attraction to fire.

"Lore-" I gasped as Lorenzo grabbed onto my hand tightly, pulling me into the ballroom and out towards the big golden doors.

He held my hand tightly the whole way, as we dashed past falling pieces of the ceiling and people frantically holding onto their loved ones.

He didn't let go.

Not even once.

We finally managed to push past the crowd of frightened guests at the front door, stumbling towards the small group of people standing below the marble stairs.

We were outside. We were safe.

I didn't remember much of what happened, but I knew that Lorenzo was with me the whole time.

We didn't notice for a while but we were still holding hands.

I don't know if my face was heating up from the heat of the fire or from being flustered.

I quickly pulled my hand away, and so did he.

"Sera! Thank Merlin you're safe," a soft voice squealed as she ran towards me.

Luna squeezed me in her embrace, making me stumble back slightly, but I held her in my arms.

Luna pulled back, noticing the black marks from the ashes and dust on my face. She held up her hand and began wiping the stains off.

"I'm okay Luna," I giggled, playfully pushing her away, "Thanks to Enzo actually," I smiled, looking at the boy who was standing and watching us quietly.

"So you two finally made up huh?" a snarky voice called out.

"I'm okay Luna," Seraphina giggled, gently pushing Luna Lovegood's hands away from her face.

"Thanks to Enzo actually," Sera turned around to face me with a wide smile on her face.

She hadn't called me Enzo in months.
