Appearance: Kurai has messy, jet black hair he always keeps up with gel (not in a similar style to Noya's hair). He has a mix of lapis blue and cobalt blue eyes. He has a pale ivory complexion, and stands around 1.58 cm and 1.59 cm. He always wears a hoodie that reaches his waist, black jeans and red sneakers.
In his crow form, he becomes a lot more smaller, which he uses to his advantage to sneak around and watch over people. He has jet black fur that is quite soft to the touch. Post time skip, his appearance changes slightly. He now wears his hair down, as is shown to have an undercut. He wears a medical eye patch that covers his right eye, and he wears a black shirt, dark brown jeans and black boots.

Personality: Kurai is normally a happy-go kid, with a bright smile. He is shown to not be very smart, as he didn't understand what Kageyama was studying for the entrance exam. He is very loyal and protective of Kageyama, shown to be against the idea of her going alone to try to enter the hole the Flame World created.
Also very forgetful. He could leave his hoodie in the closet and he would forget about it like 2 minutes later.
However, he also has a much darker side that Kageyama isn't aware of at the moment. He tried to strangle Emalf because of him being Kageyama's enemy, although he failed as soon as he remembered Kageyama's words, and he has been some nights awake with the sole wish of wanting to kill the demons from the Flame World.
Background: Kurai comes from a farmer family from a world called 'Stardew' (Stardew Valley anyone?). In his world, everyone can shift into a certain animal/creature. Kurai can shift into a crow. He was taken under Ohara, a member of the investigation department, when she saw how sneaky and silent he was. He doesn't have that much of a bad home life either, so you could say he had a good life.
However, during an investigation mission, he got caught, and got transported into Kageyama's current world. He wandered around in his crow form, trying to get food or shelter for a long time, until the night he met Kageyama.
He had found Ushijima's unconciuous body, and had also seen both Poemi and the flaming bat, but Rieta and Emalf as well (also another reason why he tried to strangle him). He flew around until he found Kageyama, and you know the rest of the story.
Likes: Worms, cold air, blueberry tarts, headpats, flying around, flowers.
Dislikes: Being called by his old name, the Flame World, sweat, fire, the Earth's studies

-I was not actually planning on him being a boy, instead I wanted him to be a girl.
