Balance of opposing forces.

Chapter 1

You had been with Jak his whole life. All the way from the time you were kids running on the sand of sentinel beach and playing pranks of the citizens of sand over village. That continued and evolved in to sneaking out at night to go adventuring as y'all got older. You always thought Samos never noticed but he always did.
You had never known your parents. The other villagers helped take care of you along with Samos. He always told you your parents were good people and that was good enough for you but you always wondered where they were.

Everyone knew if they saw Jak that you were somewhere close, y'all were always together. Samos alway told both of you that you were going to be something great in his back handish kind of way and we never believed him until terror struck our great and calm world.
Dark eco had corrupted y'all's beautiful land and turned it to ruin. It was then that Daxter asked you to come with him and Jak to help them make peace again. You weren't sure because this wasn't just a pretend adventure like y'all had always done this was real. The mute boy looked at you like he always did when he knew you would say no to one of his stupid ideas.
That's when you caved and now here you are. Y'all started on the beaches and moved to the jungle slowly clearing out the darkness. When it was time to cross the lava on the zoomer you held on to Jak and almost missed the way he looked at your hands wrapped around him. Things went on like this through the rock village and volcanic crater. You catching side glances from Jak and when you guys had a moment you and daxter would talk about the good days when you had no worries and Jak would nod along missing how it was just as much.
Jak loved when he could come to you with stupid ideas and watch your face light up. Trying to outrun the man eating fish in the ocean was probably his favorite memory because it was the stupidest and he got you to agree on it.
After defeating so many creatures and many sleepless nights wishing this nightmare would be over so you could go back to the village with the sweet boy you had put all your trust and faith into and it be like it always had been. You were standing at the top of the citadel looking up at the giant precursor robot that gal and Mai powered. it almost made you shiver.

" I don't know what we are gonna do, that thing is huge." said daxter. " what we've always done try and win to go back home" you said while looking at the pair. After destroying their guns and cannons and just about everything they had equipped this machine with they began to yell out of frustration you hear gal spout " white eco,it does exist" as a white ball began to appear above you " they must not be allowed to get it"mai added "white eco, that might be the stuff that can change me back" daxter said "or destroy that robot" you chimed in " stay fuzzy or save the world.....okay fine but do it before I change my mind" daxter said with a huff looking at Jak while he smiled at his ridiculous friend.
As the balls of white eco fell Jak looked at you with fear as one landed right beside you not knowing what it could do to you he took off running hoping to get there first. As the little ball of white eco began to dissolve away you looked at Jak with an apologetic look. Y'all had not come all this way and lost so much of y'all's childhood and time to let this go to waste regardless of if it hurt you it would be worth it.

He watched as you picked it up and it slammed in to you spirit taking over your very being. He watched with strained breathing and fear waiting for it to destroy you as he had watched eco destroy many things but for you it was harmony. You whole being felt in balance like it never had before you felt at peace for the first time in a long time. It almost felt wrong to get rid of such a pleasure but it wasn't about you at this moment. You looked the darkness in the eye and yelled a powerful yell before sticking you hand out and feeling the light eco shoot out of you.

Jak watched as the eco left you and followed it with his eyes and it made contact with the robot blowing it to a million pieces. The head started flying down Jak immediately covered you as the dark eco swallowed the pair corrupted fully by darkness.

Jak stood straight but you collapsed to a sitting position be it the pressure or the amount of eco you just used you were unsure but knew you needed a second. Jak looked at you and crouched beside you and gave you a smile ,one that you knew too well one that meant so many things with the lack of words and he hugged you. He had hugged you before but this one was different. You didn't know if it was because you could've died or what but it felt different. Jak wished he could talk and tell you what he felt and tell you his fears but until that happened he would continue to keep you by his side until he could. Daxter cleared his throat making you look at him with a roll of your eyes and he got the message and walked over to the eco pad and waited for y'all to join. You looked at Jak and gave him the same smile and stood up.

As yall approached Samos and the other sages you could see their pride. "I've never seen someone handle light eco like that" said the red sage "she is special indeed and you Jak are a fine hero" Samos said putting his hand on Jaks shoulder " yeah WE do" daxter yelled from across the group holding on to Cira. When Samos turns around to address his tone he looks past them and the giant door.

"Wow, a precursor door. I've never seen one up close." They all turned and walked towards the door " do you think there's a way to open it?" you inquired while looking up at it. " it appears to have indentions that are in the shape of power cells. Jak do you have one on you?" Cira said " Jak tossed her on out of his backpack. Cira stuck it in one of the holes and it was a perfect match the door made a click when she did " it worked.it appears to have many holes in the shape of those. can you give me all the one you have?" Jak began sticking them in all the holes he could find along with you help when you put the last one in you heard a creak and then dust flew from all angles. You grabbed Jaks arm to keep from falling.

When the doors finished opening you noticed the airship type contraption "what is it." You questioned " let's get it back to the village and fix it and see what we can do with it" Samos said
A week or two passed of you and Jak getting all the pieces to Cira to put all the parts together. You informed Samos of the news of it being all assembled and he came out and climbed in it along with everyone else. Daxter was flinging himself all over ever thing he could get his hands on. Samos began you yell at him and then he looked at you two "the only ones that can make this thing work is you two." You and Jak looked at each other. You nodded at Jak and he pressed the button with great excitement the orb popped up and began to spin. " it looks like it has preset coordinates" you whispered to Jak.

Suddenly the portal broke through the wood holding it and began to spin. You grabbed Jaks hand and he gripped it back ,then a sinister voice came through the portal "finally the last rift gate has been opened." And then millions of demon like creatures shot out along with a humongous creature bigger and scarier than you had faced. "So this is how it happened" you heard Samos whisper under his breath. You felt Jak grip your leg scared of what would happen as if you would disappear under his touch. "You can't hide from me boy." Jak didn't even have time to process his words before your voice broke through the loud thumping of chaos. "Do something Jak." Then jak hit the glowing button on the dash and sent y'all flying toward the giant creature and swirling purple portal.

As we went through the portal daxter kept yelling that he wanted off and Jak kept pulling you closer then lightning struck the ship and sent you all flying. You felt Jak trying to grip on to you and not lose you but he was ripped away from you. "find yourself Jak." Was the last thing you heard from Samos before it all went black.
