Val's POV After Jay finished getting dressed, we both headed to Mollys. Erin is hosting the party on the back patio of Mollys. This is suppose to be an intimate party but who knows. She has a lot of friends. She does over the top things when it comes to party planning.
Once we arrived we made our way towards the back to the patio. We walked out and the decorations were so cute. There were balloons and games that were set up in every corner. The bar was open and Kelly was grilling up a meal. There was this grass wall with balloons going up it with a sign hanging in the side saying "Boy or Girl?". There was a decorated cake right in front of it and some confetti canons by the table.

"Surprise!" Erin greets us giving us both a hug
"This is so cute!" I say gushing over the decorations
"Thank you so much Erin. This really means a lot to us" Jay says
"Absolutely! You both deserve this" Erin says
"So who are half of these people?" I questioned
"They're my friends that I hope will be your friends as well. Let me introduce them to you" Erin says pulling me away from Jay
Erin introduced all of her friends but I barely paid attention. Couldn't even remember everyone's name. I eventually excused myself and found myself in the company of Kelly and Sylvie.
"How are you feeling pretty mama?" Kelly asked while sipping his beer
"I feel fantastic. Really can't believe Erin pulled this off in a short period" I laughed
"We all know she's crazy for kids" Sylvie laughs
"Hey Val, have you noticed that blonde chick over there staring at you all night?" Gabby says while walking over with a plate of pastries
"No. Who is she?"
"I don't know either but there is something off off about her"
"Maybe she's just another friend of Erin's" I say ignoring that girl
-30 minutes later-
It was time for the gender reveal. Everyone gathered around the cake display and Erin gave everyone a mini confetti cannon while she gave me and Jay a large one.
"Alright everyone, the moment we have all been waiting for" Erin says
"I just want to thank all of you for coming out and celebrating with us. We really appreciate all of you" I say
"On a count of three everyone twist your canons in opposite directions to pop them!" Erin announces
Jay and I grip our canons and wait for the countdown.
"1...2...3!" everyone shouts and pops their canon
The atmosphere fills with blue and pink confetti! We're having both a boy and a girl! The excitement and joy that I have at the moment was indescribable.
