Fear of Drowning

Han's POV

Today was Stray Kids' rare day off and they were all planning to go the beach to have some relaxation time and to be away from work for once. They were all getting dressed and packing for the beach. Han was wearing a blue and white striped shirt tucked into denim shorts, he packed a water bottle, some snacks (which the members will definitely steal) and a pair of swim shorts.

"Sungie are you ready? We're waiting for you!" Chan yelled from the living room.

"Coming!" Han yelled back as he walked out of his room and into the living room.

"You look adorable baby~" Minho cooed as he took in Han's outfit. Han blushed and just melted into Minho's embrace.

"Okay let's go guys! Woohoo!" They all cheered as they went out the dorm and into the van where their driver was waiting. Han settled into the middle of backseat with Jeongin and Hyunjin, and set his head on Hyunjin's shoulder as he was still tired from waking up at 8 in the morning.

"Sleep Sungie, we'll wake you up when we're there." Hyunjin softly said.

Jeongin took Han's hand and started to slowly rub circles on the back of his hand. Han slowly started to drift off to sleep at the action.

After around 45 minutes they finally arrived at the beach.

"Hannie~ wake up we're here!"

Hyunjin shook Han awake and said excitedly. Han gathered his things and left the van with the other members. They all walked to a quiet part of the beach and Chan started to settle the picnic mat and the food, and the other members sat down while chattering excitedly. They started to gobble down the food ("slow down you guys!" Changbin worriedly yells"), after about 15 minutes all the food was gone, yes they eat like they haven't ate for days.

"GUYS! Let's go swim!" Felix suggests and all the other members agree. 

Han freezes, terrified.
There was one thing the other members didn't know about Han, it was that he was extremely scared of swimming and drowning, he didn't want to go.

"H-hey guys... d-do you m-mind if I don't g-go? I'm a bit tired..." Han stutters out.

"But Sungie hyung~ it's not fun without you~" Jeongin whines and pouts, and Han could not resist the youngest cuteness and gives in. He really doesn't want to go, but seeing as it was their whole group occasion and it wouldn't be fair to the other members to just stay behind, he relented and changed to his swim shorts and joined the other members in the water.

"Guys! Let's go further and play ball!" Seungmin screamed excitedly.

A chorus of agreement came from the other members and they all started heading to the further part of the ocean. Han was getting pretty terrified but Minho started to pull him along and he was forced to join them in the deeper part of the water. After a while of playing, Han was getting relaxed and not as scared as nothing was happening and they were all having a good time. It was soon 4pm and they needed to head back to shore to pack up and head home.

"Guys! Come back to shore, we need to go home now!" Chan yelled to the others.

Groans were heard as they slowly started swimming back to shore. Han was happy and glad the day was relaxing and glad the day was over when suddenly his left leg started to cramp up. He thrashed around, yelling at the other members for help, but he started to sink lower into the water. Water went above his head and as he started to scream for help he accidentally swallowed a ton of water and started to choke. His eyelids became heavy as his eyes slowly began to close, he felt someone grabbing his hand, but before he could see who it was, the darkness engulfed him and he passed out.

Chan's POV

I was at shore waiting for the other members to come back to shore, and I started to pack up all our things and put them into the basket we brought along, I saw the members walking towards me and I went over to hand them all towels to dry off. I noticed someone was missing and started to do a head count.

"Seungminnie... Innie... Hyunjinnie... Binnie... Lixie... Minnie... and... Sungie?" I counted and realised that Han was missing.

"Where is Sungie? Have you guys seen him?" I questioned.

The other members all shook their heads when suddenly Felix screamed.

"SUNGIE! CHAN HYUNG SUNGIE IS DROWNING! RIGHT THERE!"

I looked to where Felix was pointing and gasped, I could see a tiny figure thrashing around in the water yelling for help. I immediately jumped into the water not caring about the clothes I was wearing, and started to swim quickly towards Jisung. I could no longer see him above the water so when I reached close to where he was I swam deeper and grabbed his arm and pulled him up. I carried his limp body back to shore and started to do CPR on him.

"Sungie! Sungie! Please wake up! Please! Guys call an ambulance!" I yelled to the other members. Seungmin quickly pulled out his phone and dialed for an ambulance. The members were starting to get hysterical when suddenly we heard a cough and Han was starting to cough. I helped him up and he started to cough out a lot of water and I just rubbed his back, relief running through me. When he was done coughing, I immediately wrapped my arms around him and pulled him close to me.

"Sungie... I'm so glad you're alright..." I cried out of relief. Han started to sob and I just held him close, knowing what he went through was probably traumatic.

"I was so scared... I'm scared of the water and of swimming and I knew this was gonna happen... I KNEW!" Han sobbed into my chest and cried out.

"Baby why didn't you tell us you were scared? We wouldn't have made you come swim with us..." Jeongin asked, tears still evident in his eyes.

"I didn't want to ruin the fun... it's a rare day off for us..."

Han looked down, ashamed. I pulled his face up to look at me in the eyes.

"Baby none of us would judge you for what you're scared of, we would just understand and accept it. Next time you have to tell us okay?" I kissed him softly on the lips hoping he would feel better.

"I will... sorry hyungie..." Han blushed and said softly.

"Okay come on the paramedics are here, we'll let them check on you okay?"

"Okay."

The paramedics quickly came over and checked up on Han, asking how he felt. After a while, they determined that there was no serious damage done, and that Han just need to rest and sleep for a while. We thanked them and headed to the van. Me with my protective instincts still flared up, I carried Han to the van and placed him on the seat next to me, lying his head on my lap and told him to sleep on the way back home. When we arrived to the dorms, I carried him to the couch and set him down.

"Guys come help pull the mattresses to the living room! We're having a cuddle fest tonight!" I whisper-yelled to the other members.

We all began to pull out the mattresses and put them together. After we were done, I told the other members to gather some blankets and pillows while I took Han to the bath and helped him shower as he was still exhausted from the events. I put him in a squirrel onesie after he was done and I told him to go outside and go on the mattresses. I then took a shower quickly and head to the living room.

"Guys you can go take a shower, maybe 2 at a time if you want? NO FUNNY BUSINESS! Lee Minho I'm looking at you." I told them, giving Minho a stern look while he just smirked. 

I lay down on the mattress cuddling Han while choosing a movie for us to watch. We just sat there cuddling in peace while waiting for the other members to be done with their shower. After they were fone, we just all lay down on the mattress and cuddled while watching Frozen. We all slowly drifted off to sleep with our quokka in our arms safe and sound from the world.
