My body felt different and i was getting used to the metal they had forced in my body.

I had training today to practice my shooting skills and a stress test of my AI chip. I was a 5 years old getting trained for the army? that's something i wish on no child.

i was told to stand in front of a screen and i obeyed.

Doctor: point to the car

i did just that. i couldn't talk. they hadn't installed any vocals for me quite yet and my only communication was pointing.

Doctor: pick up the gun

I picked it up not realizing what i was going through was wrong and questionable.

Doctor: Aim! HOLD! SHOOT!

I had gotten three bullseye and was told to strip of my clothing. they had put me in this pod looking device they called a 'charger' i got in and then they had connected these thick cables to my arms, legs and the very center of my core, behind my brain.

They had run many tests. my battery health, my agility, my weak and strong spots, they eventually ran a heat and cold test which were passed.

it had gotten too hot that my chip almost malfunctioned and i felt different like a virus was spreading within my components but immediately felt better.
granted, i'm only running a government specified operating system.

My memories are uploaded to a cloud server and i have a physical hard drive containing most of my memories but something felt off..? like my timeline had somehow skipped.

Doctor: rest up. you deploy tomorrow.

those words were confusing to me as i did not know what was going on or what he had meant. i was made to obey but somehow my chip is learning new words and actions. i close my eyes. not prepared for the next string of events.
