Chapter 1: One Kiss Can Change It All...

Hermione POV:
I was l at the burrow again for the summer, I was hanging out with Ron, Harry and Ginny. Ron was holding my hand and saying something to me, but I wasn't really listening.

 "Hey guys we're going down to the lake if you want to come" said George walking in with Fred. Oh god I thought, right there, stay cool my mind said. I looked sat Fred, he was tall and handsome, his ginger hair so neat, dangling in his mischievous eyes, his strong arms, his hard chest, stop!!! You go out with Ron!!! Why am I even thinking about this??? My mind said once again. He would never notice me anyway. 

"Yeah sure" said Harry and Gin standing up, "I'm in" said Ron standing up, "Hermione?" Asked Fred looking at me, oh my god he looked at me!!!! I said in my head, "awesome, I'm mean ok" I stuttered, "cool" he said smiling at me, he smiled at me!!!! I thought. "Come on, I have a swimsuit you can wear" said Ginny pulling my arm, I aloud her to drag me upstairs, I looked back Fred was talking to Harry and Ron, lucky, he wouldn't speak to me.

 I went into Ginny's room, "uhhh, here" she said chucking a blue swimsuit at me, "thanks" I said absentmindedly, I changed with the swim upshot under my shorts and tshirt, "what is with you?" She asked turning on me once we were changed, "what???" I asked generally confused, "what are you hiding, you aren't thinking, and you always think!!! You have a secret and I want to know what" she said walking towards me, panic raised inside, I couldn't tell Ginny I like her brother instead of her other brother I was already dating. "I uhhh, don't have a secret" I lied, "yes you do, I know you better than anyone else" she said advancing on me, "I swear I don't" I said helplessly, it was no good she knew I did, "hermione!" She said, "I can't tell you!!" I said, "that's stupid you can tell me anything" she said, I had nowhere else to go, my back hit the wall, she looked me I the eyes, "fine, I l-" I started to say reluctantly but Fred and George called from downstairs, "gosh, how long does it take for girls to get ready?! Come on!!" They said, "well we gotta go, ha!" I said dodging her and running downstairs, I tied my hair up in a ponytail as I did.

 Ginny followed after me, not too happy, "come on then" said Harry, we walked to the lake not too far from here, it was a hot summers day, the sun beat down on us, "how long until the lake?" I asked hot and bothered, "not too far now, you Hermione, here's a water pistol if you're too hot" said Fred looking down at me, he handed me a small plastic red gun, I shot myself a couple times to cool down. He spoke to me! I thought. 

Soon we arrived, Fred put his arm out to stop us, "welcome to the Lake! The best place to be in then summer, where you can tan, swim, cool off, and have the time of our lives" George said spreading his arms, "let's go!" Cried Fred ripping his shirt off and diving into the lake, he bobbed up wiping the hair from his eyes, "come on in, the water's great!" He said, I stared at his naked torso, I put on suncream and sat in the sun, I read like the bookworm I am, I watched them lot having fun, laughing, I was getting a tan, "hey Hermione come on in" said Ron, "nah, not really my thing" I said, "oh yeah? Just cuz I'm a better diver than you" he teased, "nah, I used to dive a lot with my dad when I was younger" I said, "well come on then" he said, "no!" I said, "that proves it then" he replied smugly "that's it" I said ripping my clothes off so I was in my costume, "hey guys see who's a better diver" I said, they watched, I ran back a bit jumping off the bank, I twirled a bit midair and did a perfect dive, I came back up, "bloody hell" said Fred, "that was great!" Said Harry, "yeah well watch this" said Ron, he jumped in but belly flopped it, "Awww" I said kissing him, I didn't really want to, I wanted to be just friends, but I've got to pretend I love him. I imagined I kissed Fred, "thanks 'Mione" Ron said, I smiled, it wasn't really though, this was harder than I thought it would be. Nevertheless, I did have a genuinally good time, we walked back a couple hours later laughing and talking.

 I looked up at Fred, "impressive dive Hermione" he said grinning, I felt kind of taken back to the fact he's having a converstion with me. "thanks, as I said my dad and I used to dive together alot" I said, smiling slightly, "that's cool" he said smoothly, we arrived at the burrow, Ginny grabbed some towels and passed them around so we could dry our hair. "I'm going to get changed out of these wet clothes" said Ginny, "same" said Harry, they ran off upstairs, "well that was fun" said Ron, kissing me, I kissed him gingerly, "yeah it was" I said timidly, "what's up?" he asked, I shook my head, "hey Ron, want to test out this new product me and Fred have been working on?" asked George excitedly, "yeah!" Ron scoffed, they ran off somewhere as well, leaving just me and Fred.

 I stared after them desperately. I felt Fred's eyes on me, I looked away shyly. "what is with you lately?" asked Fred at last, "what do you mean?" I asked still avoiding looking at him, I fidgeted with my hands, "you, you've been acting really weird lately" he said, putting his hand on mine to stop them fidgeting, a warm shiver shot through my body, I stared down at his hand. Oh my gosh, his hand is touching my hand!!! my brain seemed to say. 

I blushed "Have I?" I asked, lies, I knew what was "up", "yes you have! Why?" he cried, I looked up at him quickly, "I don't know" I lied again, he saw through it, "Hermione, you can tell me, we are friends you know.... And I care about you" he said softly, putting another hand on mine, I looked up at him, I know it was stupid but I leaned up and kissed him on the lips, he broke off in surprise, I looked down quickly, my cheeks flushing, "sorry" I muttered, my hands fidgeting agin, I refused to look up at him. "don't be" he said, looked up slightly, he was grinning, he put and finger underneath my cin, lifting it up, he leaned down and kissed me again. Fireworks exploded through my body, OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! my whole body scremed. I melted against his lips, finally happy.
