Chapter One Sen

Izumo and Kotestsu.

Leaf Village Gate.

"Is it just me or are you Leaf ninja getting lazier."

Both sleeping nin jumped up from their chairs, one ready to attack the other thinking they had been lucky it wasn't Tsunade who had found them that way.

Kotestsu recovered a little faster as he watched the woman in front of him. She sat on the desk in front of them, inches from where his head previously was. Her legs were crossed and her dark obsidian eyes watched them, a small smile on her face- knowing exactly what thoughts he had been thinking. Her long black hair reached the desk in wavy silk curls, skin just barely surpassed ivory.

More importantly, they both realized she looks... familiar.

She could pass for an Uchiha. Kotestsu frowned, "State your name and business. And please hand over you identification card."

The mystery woman tilted her head to the side in a contemplative style before releasing a long sigh.

"You see, I'm a very wanted woman." She starts slowly, "If I told you my name, I would be putting you in danger. And if word got round that I am here... well that could be very bad for your village."

Izumo frowns now, just who is this familiar woman?

Suddenly she smiles distractingly, and hops up from her perch, "Do you mind if I just go see your Hokage? I hear you have a woman now? I wonder what she's like.." She starts to saunter in past them, leaving the stunned men to gape.

"H-hey wait! We can't permit you to Lady Hokage without an escort! Kotestsu moves from around the desk reaching for her but she's gone, "-woah!"

"She disappeared! We have to report to lady Tsunade!" Izumo exclaims.

"Right! We should tell ANBU as well." Kotetsu adds nodding.

"What exactly are you reporting to Lady Tsunade and ANBU?" A bored voice questions.

Tsunade yawned for the upteenth time, turning her swivel chair to face the large window behind her. Her thoughts had been directed on Naruto, Jiraiya and the Akatsuki. The duo were supposed to be returning in the next few weeks.

And between now and their awaited arrival, she needed to sort through loads of paperwork, finish the negotiations between the village and two other clans- that have bad relationships with a few clans in Konoha- keep her tabs on the Akatsuki up to date, have another squad check out the spotting of bandits at the border-

Tsunade snorts, what am I thinking I needed this all to be done last week.

So turning her chair back to her paper covered desk she began to organize folders.

And that's when her office door bursts open, she raised a blonde brow at Izumo and Kotestsu who had tumbled to the floor.

"Lady Tsunade!"

"There's an intruder in the village!" They both yell as they scrambled to stand.

"What?" Tsunade's fists pounded onto the table as the hot tempered blonde shot up from her chair.

"It's a little true, Lady Tsunade. And you would be most surprised at who it is."

All three turned to the corner of the room where a certain white haired jonin was standing, ichi-ichi paradise in hand.

"What do you know Kakashi?"

Serenity moved through the village with stealth. She knew where the Hokage's building was located, but instead she moved off path and onto the roofs, eyes constantly searching the crowds looking for any familiar faces. She hadn't actually come here to see Tsunade. She could get to that later.
