I was brought to a hospital nearby due to food poisoning. Luckily I haven't ate that much. I was recovering but my parents, especially mom protested that I should stay a little bit longer for more tests. Talking about overreacting.
I only said yes because my opinion would not matter there, especially when mom makes up her mind.
Lucky me, she wanted me to stay at the hospital two weeks. Two freaking weeks?! She's too overreacting about this. Well on the bright side, I don't have to attend school for two weeks! But it will be boring, holding only my phone till I wake up and sleep, seeing two to five same faces a day, I hope my friends visits me here or i'll go nuts!
Anyway, I've survived boredom for 3 days! I still have a week and four days to hold my sane.
I got bored playing and watching everything that I have inside my phone so I decided to go for a walk. Mom doesn't want me to go outside my room, she said "Its too dangerous" and I might get viruses from the other patients or something.
"Mom, can I go for a walk?"
"Didn't I told you yesterday and the other day that you might caught a cold or anything?" She answers with a calm voice without looking at me.
"Mom, I'm a seventeen year old! I will be back, promise! It's too boring here." I protested.
"Fine, I'll give you thirty minutes. If you're not here after that, then there is no way you will go out again tomorrow." She sermonize me.
My face brighten up because I won! I thank her before bidding my goodbye. I set my timer so I would be notified when it's time. It's hard to loose her trust, got to be careful.
As I peacefully walk at the hallway, I saw a man wearing a patient gown.
"Hey!" I greeted him. He stared at me with a questioning look. He look around to see if I am talking to him or not. He didn't see anyone but the two of us.
"Yes, I am talking to you. Why are you here?" I ask while trying to bright up the awkward atmosphere.
"Do I know you?" He asks with a hint of irritation.
"Nah, let me introduce myself, I am Cindy. I guess you know me now? So what's your name?" I asked while slightly wiggling my brows. He's tall and skinny. His hair is short and neat, a pair of blue eyes, pointed nose and reddish thin lips.
"None of your business." He coldy reply and walks past me.
"How rude." I irritatedly commented. My happy go mode got washed away in just seconds! I just wanted to make friends, that's all.
I continued walking and trying not to be bothered. When I heard someone shouting.
"Liam! My name is Liam, Cindy." He said. I was about to turn my head to see him but he was gone. Wow, is he flash?
Liam? Hmm, suits him, I guess.

After my short walk, I decided to come back 10 minutes earlier. While walking and murmuring the lyrics of what I am listening through my earphones.
I felt someone was looking at me from faraway or secretly following me. I was starting to get nervous and anxious. I walked twice the speed of my normal walk.
I slowed down a bit and trying to convince myself to look who it was. While having a huge argument inside I felt something cold at my back. I didn't waste any second to know what is it. My attention caught a man who was standing few inches away from me.
As a person who is bad at memorizing everyone's name and facial features of who I just met, I don't recognize him at all. I was brought back to my conscience when an eight year old bumped me and almost fell to the ground. Luckily I got to hold her arm. She thanked me and bid her goodbye. I was about to mind my own business again when I caught the same man staring at me.
