The Land of Dreams Book 2 (Yandere Dream Demon x Reader)

Hello, Number Ten

Bruno stepped out of his car, exhausted from work. He shut his car door and opened the back to grab his bag. He took his bag from the car and slowly made his way to his house. He wanted to greet you and then head to bed. Bruno unlocked the house door and walked inside, locking the door behind him. He set his bag beside the door and slipped his shoes off. He looked around, but he couldn't find you.

   " Y/n! Are you home!? "

There was no response. Bruno looked in the kitchen and the living room, and he didn't see you. He thought you were upstairs, and he climbed the stairs. He opened the door to your room, and he didn't see you. He knocked on your bathroom door, and you still weren't there. Bruno started to panic a little bit, wondering where you were at. Bruno walked into his room, and his anxiety left him seeing a figure lying underneath his bedsheets. Bruno sighed and walked towards the bed, and lifted the blankets a bit. The first thing he noticed was your peaceful sleeping face, but the colors on his arm distracted his eyes. On your arm, there were colorful dots that lined your arms. And in your hand, there was a purple marker.

   ' What have you been doing? '

Bruno sat on the bed and shook you a little bit. You slowly started to wake up, and you opened your eyes to see Bruno sitting on the bed.

   " Hey, sleepyhead. "

   " Hi, Bruno. "

   " Why are there dots on your arm and why ar you holding a marker in your sleep? "

   " I've been developing a test. "

   " A test? For what? "

   " I think someone's in my dreams again. "

Bruno felt taken aback by what you said. He slowly took the marker out of your hands and put the cap on it. 

   " What do you mean? There's someone in your dreams? Is it someone like Ji-Young? "

   " So, I watched the news today and I saw that there were five more kills and it reminded me of Ji-Young or the Phantom Case or whatever you call the case. I took a blue and red marker and went to sleep earlier today, and while I was asleep I imagined a blue and red marker.  In my dream, I was going to make a mark on my arm with blue if there was something going on and with red, if there was nothing going on. So, in my sleep, I made a mark on my arm with a blue dot, meaning that there is someone in my dream. I've been conducting other tests until then. I don't know what's going on but there's someone, not Ji-Young, who has the same powers as him. And I think he's making me forget everything when I wake up. "

Bruno didn't know what to say. After a long day of work and now hearing that someone is roaming your dreams is making his head spin. 

   " Y/n, I. . .I need to think about this. It's been a long day of work and. . .I can't process this right now. "

   " But. . .fine. We can talk about this in the morning. But don't expect me to sleep, now that I know there's someone that could harm me in my dreams. "

Bruno only nodded and stood from the bed. He walked to the other side of the bed and laid down, pulling the covers over him. He hugged your head to his chest and closed his eyes.

   " Then, just help me get to sleep, please. "

Bruno started to sleep, and he was pulled into a dream. Bruno was lying in a car, and it seemed dark outside. Bruno sat up in the car and looked out of the window. Bruno found himself in a desert inside of the vehicle. Bruno pulled on the handles of the door, but he couldn't get out of the car. He tried all of the doors, and he couldn't get out. Bruno even kicked the doors, but he couldn't even make a dent in the door side. 

   ' What is going on? '

   " Number, ten I believe. I've kept an open spot for you. I've got to kill you before I can move on to the rest. It's time to finish what should have happened long ago! " Bruno heard.

Bruno looked around the outside of the car, and his eyes suddenly caught something. Heading towards the car was a crane with a giant ball of steel connected to the end of it. It was heading towards the vehicle at an increasing speed, and Burno felt his body stiffen up.

   ' I can't escape in time. '

Bruno, out of instinct, raised his arm, but when he heard the impact of the steel ball hitting the car, he sat upright in his bed, feeling beads of sweat on his brow. He was breathing heavily, and he felt his body shaking. 

You weren't in bed anymore, and the side you were lying on was empty of the markers. 

   ' Okay, maybe we can talk about it now. '
