Prologue

Meet Emily.
Kind hearted , beautiful and with a heart of gold. Emily's just like any other teenager. She went through ups and downs. Sometimes she hates life other times she's glad she's the way she is. She lost a lot to her rare cancer osteoblastic osteosarcoma including her beautiful light brown hair. Her body was rejecting the medication but now her life hangs in a balance between life and death. Just when Emily thought things couldn't get stranger she has a out-of-body experience and she watches the things that happen to her.

So will Yushua comes back to visit her? Will she fight harder or is she going to lose her battle? Is he going to help her with her battles? In the end what makes her stay? What makes her stronger?

Meet Yushua.
Handsome rich and heartbroken. He can be intimidating but that's only because he's trying to protect himself from heartbreak. Going to school , diving trips all over the world and surfing almost everyday was what Yushua is all about. When his first love who has cancer gets even more sick and falls into a coma Yushua has to decide between facing his past and going to see his first love and the girl who holds his heart who's hanging on a balance between life and death and doing the easy thing , forgetting her and avoiding the pain of seeing her in that state. He has a hard decision to make. Heartbreak and ego aside he has to do what's right for everyone.

Will he make the right decision? Will he be able to help her out? Or will he just let everyone down? Does he get back together with his first love after their battle together or does she end up giving up?

- We're all just humans drunk on the idea of a love that can heal all brokenness.

Their love was strong and beautiful. It was a fairytale love. He stayed with her during her worst days when she couldn't even look at herself in the mirror. She loved him and cared for him the way he deserved. They made each other stronger. But when Emily's cancer gets worse she asks Yushua to leave her and to never come back again. She called it controlling collateral damage. She sees herself as a time bomb ready to blow up and hurt anyone who cares when she dies. He gave up on her. They both loved each other but stayed away so they wouldn't hurt each other. Their love was the kind of love that could burn buildings up or raise them high in the air. It was always black or white with them , Nothing in between. Will they get back together if she ever wakes up?

So join Yushua and Emily on their journey and battle against death. Will their love overcome and conquer everything else in the end? Read to find out what's going on in their minds during that hard battle they're suppose to fight.
