Izuku midoriya has always wanted to be a hero , even if he was quirkless , he still wants to be like almight. Because Midoriya knows that being a hero isn't just about fighting and rescuing people, it is about how you make people feel happy about what you do for them.
For Midoriya, he believes that Almight is the best hero ever, the best of the best. Nobody would be as good as almight . He believes in almight's smile, that's why he came to work at almight's foundation, to make kids smile.
The foundation arranges meetings between kids and their heroes. Anyone can come in and tell who their hero is and you'll be able to meet and talk to your hero in a weeks time. It is growing really popular, and Midoriya really likes his job.
Today was the same as any other day, he gets up and goes to work. Talking to the children and parents that came, arranging meetings, and enjoying the smiles on kids' faces. It was almost evening now and he saw one kid walk in with his mother.
"Hello Mr.Deku" said the boy whose name is rikyu. "Hello, there Rikyu, who would you like to meet today?" Rikyu was silent for a moment, his mum suddenly left them saying she wanted to go to the restroom. "Um" Rikyu began. "He told me to keep it a secret, but I really want to see him" "He said he's the smiling man" Rikyu said.
Midoriya's face turned white and he was shocked for a moment. "He told you he was the smiling man?" Midoriya asked. "Of course he did Mr.Deku. And even if he didn't I've ever saw him on TV. And mum told me he called himself the smiling man"
The smiling man was the most well known and dangerous villain in Japan. Nobody ever saw his face, he always wear a smiling face mask. He doesn't go around robing things or killing civilians,though. Instead, he focuses on taking down heroes, destroying government property, hero agencies and ruling the underground.If almight were to be the king of heroes, the smiling man would be the king of all villains. Nobody really sees him walking around, he's really good at hiding himself and because nobody knew his real face he could blend deep in society. To get a chance to see and talk to him without being dead afterwards could even be a miracle.
"Why would you want to meet the smiling man?, and where did you even see him?" Midoriya asked trying to stay calm. "The smiling man saved me and my mum, from Endeavor's accident fireball . Mum doesn't know it was him though. She was unconscious" "But I saw him. He was wearing the mask and he told him that I wanted to thank him" "so he told me that if I really wanted to do that, I should keep this a secret." Midoriya was listening his mouth hanging open. "But I really want to see him" said Rikyu. "Could you find him for me?" Midoriya hesitated. This was strange. Why would a high ranking villain suddenly mess around saving civilians. Believing this would be hard. But bringing him here to meet a kid is impossible. But still he wanted to find out more.
"Ok,I will find him for you." "But promises me one thing, don't ever tell anyone about this. Not even your mum."Midoriya says. The boy nodded.Midoriya knew that the boy probably wouldn't tell anybody, and eve if he did, it wouldn't matter because he is sure nobody would believe him.
