Growing up Deku was very happy. He had a loving mother, friends , nad encouraging teachers. He honestly couldn't ask for more. When he turned 4 his life began to change. The people around him became cruel, his teachers didn't happen what happened to the little greenette, his mother started to become depressed, and his friends hated his guts. The reason for this was that he was quirkless so in the eyes of those around him he was worthless.
Deku never fought back against anyone who hurt him because he believed he was a waste of space and in everyone's way. That was until he turned 10.
At age 10 he found a place that taught a variety of self defense and fighting classes just for the fun of it. As soon as he found it he signed up for it. He quickly caught up with the other students who had been in those classes for a while.
At age 11 he was the most skilled student in all of his self defense classes and fight classes. About half way through the year deku went home later than usual due to him helping his sensei teach other classes. On his way home he heard a scream from the allyway next to him. The scream caught his attention and he ran towards it. He saw a woman getting jumped by a minor thug. Deku ran over ond threw the thug off of the woman and quickly getting into a defensive stance infront of the woman knowing that the thug would try to attack him. Just as deku had expected the man ran at him with the intent to harm him. In a swift move deku managed to him a pressure point on the back of the mans neck knocking him out. The woman was very greatful and thanked deku multiple times before she had to leave. After helping the woman deku felt a sense of pleasure.
Helping people during his walks became frequent. This made deku want to patrol the district he lived in to help reduce the amount of small crimes that happen. The people were thankful to him even though they didn't know who he was.
Thanks to deku the crime in his district had reduced but the bad thing was that larger villains had noticed that there wasn't much crime in that area so they migrated. Deku noticed this when he was beating more villains and thugs each night. That continued for 2 years. Deku still had no name but he had tons of fans.
One night it was unusually quiet. This made deku suspicious but he like it quiet because it meant that he had less of a work load. As he was sitting on the edge of a building he heard a scream. As usual he ran in that direction. Once he got there he saw a little girl held at gun point. He jumped down and hit the man on the back of the neck knocking him out. After deku had tied him up with some rope that he found the girl asked him a question.
"Mister what's your name?" This question caught deku off guard. He looked at the little girl. She had adorable brown doe eyes and little blonde pigtails. Deku knelt donw infont of her.
"You can call me Veridian." That was all he said before the police arrived. Deku fled the scene as the cops walked into the allyway. They questioned the little girl but didn't really get any answers from her, that was until they asked one last question.
"Who saved you?" The little girls eyes lit up. Se giggled before responding with an answer.
"It was Veridian." Thanks to this answer the police finally had a name to put with the mysterious person that filled up their cells. They now wanted to find him more than ever.
