Chapter 8

I wake up in my own bed with Jack and Angel watching me worry clear on their faces, as soon as they see my eyes open they start towards me but I flinch away my eyes wide. I look around and frown then I sit up and wince slightly as I feel a pain between my thighs and I look down to see bruising on my legs and my arms, at that moment it all comes back to me. The memory of the stench of his breath and the roughness of his hands make me flinch back, Jack reaches out and softly strokes my cheek.

"Shhh Autumn you're safe. I'm here, your wolf boy is here." he murmurs softly as I freeze at his touch.

"I...I h-he....." my eyes are wide as I throw myself at Jack snuggling my face into his shoulder as he wraps his arms around my body.

"I know but you're safe now and he will pay for what he did to you." he growls softly as he pulls me onto his lap protectively.

"I was so scared Jack. I thought I'd never see you again." I whimper into his shoulder.

"Autumn you should know that no matter where you go, no matter who takes you I will always find you and destroy whomever took you." he sighs nosing my hair.

I relax at that then I sniff and look at Angel and frown, "Angel you're injured."

"So are you sis, these wounds are nothing compared to what that guy is going to have done to him." he smiles even though his shirt and hair are soaked in blood.

"Angel go take care of yourself and clean up we don't want to upset her too much." Jack snaps.

Angel doesn't fight it he just nods and walks out of my room. Soon I hear the water turn on and then Jack moves slightly and looks at me his bright blue eyes worried.

"Jack I'll be fine just don't let go of me."

"I'm never letting go of you again Autumn. We have to leave here you know."

"No we don't if we hunt him down and prove that he kidnapped and tortured me."

"He tortured you?!?!" Jack growls.

"Electrocuted more like." 

Jack goes silent but I can feel his anger rolling off of him in dark waves and it sends shivers up my spine. I look at him and bite my lip as I see that his wolf is just below the surface. I make a split second decision and crush my mouth against his making him stiffen for a second. I start to worry that he won't kiss me back but then he pulls me tighter against him and I feel his lips start to work against mine. After a couple minutes we both pull away and I can tell that I'm blushing making him chuckle and I smile softly. 

"Jack don't worry we will find him and make him pay but for now can we please just cuddle? I want to have your arms wrapped around me for eternity but I will settle for cuddling right now."

He smiles at me, the smile that he knows that makes my knees weak, "I thought that you would never ask." 

I squeal when he moves quickly and pushes me down onto the bed and pulls me into his chest and nuzzles my head. I hear him chuckle at my squeal and I growl softly at him then look up into his eyes. 

"The guy that took me said something interesting to me." I watch his face for his reaction.

"What did he say?" he looks worried.

"He said that I was a princess..." I watch him closely.

His face gives him away and I frown but he quickly turns wolf and bounds away making me gt up and follow him. He runs down the stairs but is stuck at the door and I catch him then grab his scruff.

"You aren't going anywhere until you tell me what you know!" I growl shaking him slightly.

He turns normal but I keep my grip on his neck making him unable to run, "Autumn you are royalty that's all I know I swear!"

My hand falls off of his neck and I stand there shocked my eyes wide and unseeing. Angel comes down the stairs toweling off his hair and he stops when he sees us.

"What's up guys?" he asks leaning against the railing.

"I'm a princess..."

"What are you going on about Autumn?"

"Angel did you know that we are royalty?"

"What?"

"You heard me Angel." I turn to look at him.

"You aren't joking are you?" He looks into my eyes and I can see it creeping into his eyes as he starts to understand that I'm not kidding.

He sits down on the stairs his face paler than usual and I can see the shock on his face. I go and sit down beside him and lean my head against his shoulder and he wraps his arm around me and we sit there for an hour or so in shock.

"Why have we never heard about it?" I look up at Jack who is sitting with his back to the door.

"Heard about what?"

"That we are royalty."

"I don't know Autumn, I swear I don't. I only knew that you were royal and that my family has protected your family for centuries." 

I nod then get up and head back into my room shutting the door and locking it before going to my bed and sitting down to think by myself.

AN: Hey guys I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to continue this story but things have been hectic and I've had writer's block. It was amazing to come back and see that I have almost 1000 reads on this story though. Thank you guys so much and I'm sorry that it is so short but that's all I can do for today I have to go and do some adulty things.
