"Thank you for another spectacular season marching lemurs!" Mr. Williams says into the mic
"We have a few awards to hand out, we have our field commander to hand them out ." Mr. Williams walks to the side of the auditorium stage and Seth walks to the mic .
"All of these categories were selected by yours truly. Band members voted for the winners." Seth says as he takes out a large vanilla envelope
"First we have most improved. The Bandies voted in Glen co co. Very funny. you go glen co co." he places the award back in the envelope
"Next we have cutest couple." he looks at the award "as expected Aj and Ian win cutest band couple."
Ian and Aj run up on stage, take their awards , Ian yells a quick "thanks mom!" and they both return to their seat. "Runner up was Noah and Elia."
Noah and Elia stay seated but give each other a peck on the lips, which receives and eye roll from Bella.
Ten awards later Seth has handed them all out and walks off the stage. Bella claps along with the parents and friends who came to honor the band, but secretly she had hoped to get an award but got none. Suppose the show was award enough.
"I myself got injured and missed the summer practices but that doesn't take away from our spectacular season! Not to mention the Macy's thanksgiving day parade ! It was surreal even for a man of my age and it's all thanks to my wonderful band." Mr. Williams say into the mic
Everyone claps and Zach stands up on his seat,he cups his heads over his mouth and shouts "Let's hear it for Mr. Williams!"
Everyone erupts into clapping then it turns into a standing ovation.
After the applause dies down he steps back up to the mic "To end our night we our announcing our up coming 2015 field commander. No other than Miss. Bella Vaughn."
Bella smiles a real smile, something she hasn't done since the summer.
Seth pulls her into a huge hug, knowing it was his last marching season and he would be in the marching 110 next year he is glad Bella will take his place.
After the ceremony ends Bella, Seth, Aj, Ian and Zach into a huge group hug.
All of a sudden it comes to Bella.
She doesn't need a boy to make her happy. She needs band. Band is a family. Music is the best form of magic.
