it was official. I was moving back to obx. I used to live there my whole life but, my parents divorced when i was 15 and I went and lived with my dad in NYC. dad became an alcoholic and started to physically abuse me, so here I am moving back and going to live with my mother. now at the age of 18 I'm moving back to obx and staying there. gonna buy my own car, my own house eventually, and go back to the kook life that I very much miss. I missed my friends from obx so much. Sarah, topper, Kelce.... and rafe. and of course my mother. many ask why I didn't stay with her in obx instead of moving with dad, and the answer is because I wanted to live a new life but starting that new life made me miss obx a lot.
finally I get off the plane and go look for a place to catch a cab. then my phone starts ringing. it was my mum.
"mum?" I say
"Paige sweetheart I take it you're off the plane?" she asks
"yeah in the carpark waiting for a cab" I say
"there's no need for that" she says
"what?" I ask
"i'm right here" she says hanging up the phone
a black car pulls up in front of me and the window slides down
"hi mum" I smile
"paige" she says parking the car and running out to hug me
"I missed you so much" I say, my voice muffled as my head rests on her shoulder
"oh I've missed you more" she says understanding me
"lets go home" i say smiling and we get in the car
it was nice to be home, my real home. i couldn't wait to unpack and go see everyone.
"we're here" mum says
"wow i forgot how big this place is" i say
our house was about the same size as the Cameron's. we live next door to them which is convenient. although sarah and rafe have no idea i'm here yet. my room is upstairs and is the biggest room in the house, and lucky for me my balcony is facing the Cameron's house directly across from rafes balcony.
i feel my phone buzz in my pocket and its a message from sarah.
"hey loser how's things at home?" the message read
i replied by taking a photo of outside my balcony of their house and say "i'm really home" i put my phone on my bed and run downstairs to get a snack.
i go to grab a pack of oreo's from my cupboard but someone knocks on the door
"coming!" i shout stuffing an oreo in my mouth and running to the door
i pull the door open and there is a very bright and happy sarah Cameron
"sarah!!" i shout and pull her in for a hug
"oh paige I've missed you" she says squeezing me
"i missed you too" i smile
"come to mine rafe and all the others are there" sarah says
"rafe?" i ask
"oh come on lets just go" she says and we walk to her house
