Chapter 5: I'm sorry..

Lapis POV:

"Thank you Lazuli, I'm sorry I took it the wrong way" that was the last thing she said before she parted our hug.  Man I wished that hug was longer

*Lapis flashback from the parking lot pov*

I followed Peridot out of the gym to the parking lot. She looked so messed up I felt so bad that Jasper and his friends have been doing this for years and for once I felt anger. I tried to see if the blonde girl was okay.
"Are you okay Peri?" I said but it seemed to anger the blonde one. I wasn't thinking and I pinned her to the nearest car, I looked at her emerald green eyes, examining it deeply and leaning in without noticing. But Peridot pushed me off and walked away grabbing her bag. But I was still standing in shock when she came back, I guess she felt bad and instead of walking past she hugged me and said: "I'm sorry.. I'm not in the best mood" and walked off I was in shock but a little happy of what had happened. As I watched her walk through the front doors with her duffle bag and see her disappear. I soon walked back to the Gym and scolded Jasper and his friends. "What the fuck is wrong with you???" I screamed as my voice echoed in the gym. Jasper and his shit friends laughed it off and told me "it was just a joke don't worry about it" "well jokes don't involve a black fucking eye asshole!" I replied as I stormed out to the cafeteria.
It took me a while to get there because I had to go grab my back and grabbed my bag then I had to use the restroom. When I got there I saw Peridot, she had her earphones on and was doing something in her notebook. She looked pretty messed up but it was clear she tried to fix it up a bit. I was about to approach until this girl around the same size as she approached her first. I saw Peridot's angry and wrecked face turned very concerned and disappointed. She got up to grab the girl's hand and left the cafeteria with her stuff. "I shouldn't follow them.. maybe they're just friends," I said to myself but why did I care? I have a boyfriend. Then my urge to know what was going on grew and I followed the girls to the restroom. Slowly I opened the door to listen to the girl's conversation but there was nothing really to worry about until I decided to take a peak. I saw Peridot's face inches away from the girls but she was wiping something off her face. The way this girl looked at this girl was different though, it was as if she wanted the whole thing to happen. "God Connie your a clod sometimes.." I heard the Peridot mumble. I saw the girl blush and try to place a kiss on the lips of the blonde one I fell back in shock covering my mouth holding in my squeal. But that didn't work the two heard me fall back. They both ran over and saw me, but instead of words coming out I stuttered and left. "Jesus.. why we were bonding so well last night where is all of that???" I walked quickly to my first class which was English and took a seat

*End of flashback*

Peridots have been avoiding me all day and I have no reason why. I only tried to make sure she was okay "I'll talk to her after class I guess," I said in my head as I glanced over to her.
"Ms.Lapis can you please explain to me this formula right here" I heard Mr.Ghendite say as I looked over towards him. He looked frustrated and over me already so I gave him just a random answer "25??" I questioned not confident with my answer as I saw him roll my eyes. "The answer is 11.2347" I looked over to the blonde raising her hand and putting it back down and looking back at her notes. "Correct Ms.Peridot thank you for paying attention huh Ms. Lazuli?" he said looking at me.
God, I wished he shut the fuck up sometimes. The class was over and I quickly packed my bookbag and jumped over desks to catch up to Peridot quicker. I grabbed her shoulder "Hey Perid-" I said before she rudely cut me off "Get off of me" she said as she shoved my handoff. "What did I do???" I said confused and frustrated she glanced over to me as if I was some dumbass clueless. "Seriously???" She said looking at me speechless "So you kiss me, try to embarrass me, and then now you wanna be my friend" she threw her laptop in her bag and zipped it up aggressively. "Peri I don't know what you're talking about" her brows curved. "I know you're the popular girl of the school but that doesn't mean you can be an ass, asshole," she said that giving me a dead stare, throwing her bag over her shoulder, and walking off.

"I kissed her..?" I was confused and frustrated. If I've kissed someone I would've remembered. I ran after her, when I finally caught up to her she tried to throw me off but I threw her In a janitor's closet along with myself. (A/N: Jori moment lol) I pinned her to the wall and looked her dead in the eye. "That person who kissed you wasn't me," I said, she was trying to push me off but I was stronger than her. "You really don't remember you sitting in my honors Math class asshole?" She asked with anger and frustration from trying to get me off.
"No, because after I saw you and that girl in the bathroom I went to English class jerkwad" the girl stopped fighting me after my reply. But she still didn't believe me one bit, so I took a brave step. "I'll prove it this is how I kiss" I connected our lips together roughly as she got shocked again. She wasn't fighting me though she was allowing me to do so but only for ten more seconds. After that, she signaled me to stop so I did. The girl wiped her lips completely not phased by the situation, not even a blush came across her face she looked at me putting her hair in a messy bun, and then pushed me aside pushing the door open. "Your right it wasn't you" then left.
