chapter 24

blair's pov:
2 weeks until tour
"turn that shit off" billie groans, digging her face further into my chest, as i feel around looking for my phone.
"i'm trying" i softly chuckle, my fingers finally making contact with my phone, quickly turning off my alarm.
"fuck, i'm too tired to go to school" i sigh, pulling billie closer to me.
"then don't go, let's just sleep until the release party" billie suggests, lifting her head to meet my eyes.
"mmmhh sounds veryy tempting, but i can't my mom made me promise to not skip school since she's letting me go on tour with you" i smile, taking in my view of her flawless face, with her cute disheveled bed head.
how can someone look this good in the fucking morning? could never be me.
"fair enough" she softly chuckles, her eyes slowly closing.
"i should go i need to get ready before i'm late" i mention, untangling myself from billie's grasp, her eyes immediately fluttering open. "go back to sleep, i'll see you soon" i smile, kissing her cheek.
"mmmk, have fun at school" she gives me a cute sleepy smile, cuddling a pillow to replace me.
"bye mama" i wink, leaving her room, quietly making my way out.
time skip
"i'm so excited for tonight, i still can't believe billie invited us" dakota squeals, all of us sitting in chipotle.
"she invited mee, i was just being a good friend and asked if y'all could tag along" i chuckle, digging into my food.
"whatever dude, but when are you gonna lock things down with her?" tyler questions.
"just waiting for the right moment" i smile.
"when isn't the right moment? y'all been on like 4 dates already" ace chuckles.
"you're even going on tour with her" tatum jumps in.
"hold up gang, you shouldn't be talking, it took you 2 months to officially ask sky" i chuckle, targeting ace.
"shut up" he mumbles.
"definitely doing it before tour tho" i smile to myself.
"does she care if anyone knows?" sky asks.
"nahh, the media has been noticing but she said she doesn't care. i think it would be a different story if we were to go public tho" i explain.
"fair enough" dakota smiles.
"okay enough of blair and her love life, when is the party? jerome is in town and wants a rematch" ace changes the subject.
"who the fuck is jerome?" i scoff.
"the kid that i beat during the summer who was crying cuz he betted all his father's money. apparently he upgraded his car and is ready for a rematch" ace explains.
"oh yeahhh, that's the goofball spending rich daddy's money" i chuckle.
"remember when he tried to make a move on kota? he was so nervous" tyler laughs.
"please don't even remind me, that was so awkward" dakota groans, clearly embarrassed.
"that's tuff. i'm not racing today tho, i told billie i'll help her prepare for tonight and it starts at 11" i explain.
"whipped" ace fake coughs.
"there you go talking out yo ass again" i roll my eyes, throwing tinfoil at his head.
billie's pov:
"i'm excited for tonight" i smile, joining finneas on the couch.
"yeah me too, i think justin is coming too" finneas smirks.
"don't even remind me, no matter how much we talk it still doesn't feel real" i gush, scrolling through instagram. "so how's house hunting?" i change the subject.
"i think we found the perfect one" finneas smiles.
"already? i'm so happy for you man, lowkey sad you'll be leaving me with mom and dad" i joke, turning my phone off to give him my full attention.
"you don't need me, you're always with blair, but don't worry it's only 15 minutes away" finneas chuckles.
"oh shut up" i shake my head, hearing a soft knock on the door. "that must be drew and zoe" i smile, going for the door. "hey, i missed y'all so much" i greet them both, pulling them into a hug. 
"girl, you're glowing" drew gasps.
"and there's only one reason why she is" finneas buds in.
"yeah blair" zoe teases.
"whateverr" i playfully roll my eyes, trying to hide to my smile.
"i see you on social media with this girl, but i haven't met her yet" drew chuckles.
"you'll like her" zoe smiles.
"come on, there's a lot to talk about" i smile, leading them to my room.
"i can't get over the fact that she punched him" drew chuckles, after i explained the whole story with blair.
"was that the only part you was listening to?" i laugh.
"maybe, but i can't wait to meet her, seems like she makes you happy" drew smiles.
"yeah she does" i smile, feeling my cheeks warm up at the thought.
"billie, your girl- i mean blair is here" finneas yells, making drew and zoe laugh.
"he's annoying" i roll my eyes, making my way to the living room "you're not slick" i flick finneas in the forehead.
"ow! what was that for?" finneas pouts.
"hey mama" blair smiles, pulling me in by my waist.
"hey" i smile, wrapping my arms around her neck, planting a short kiss on her lips. "i want you to meet drew and you already know zoe" i introduce.
"it's good to finally meet you, i heard a lot about you" drew waves.
"i hope all good things" blair chuckles, quickly glancing at me. "what's up zoe" she smiles, pulling away from me to give zoe a hug.
"hey blair, where are your friends?" zoe smiles, fiddling with her fingers.
"why? am i not good enough?" blair chuckles, sitting down on the couch. she man spread her legs, pulling me down on her lap.
"she just wants to know if jayden is going" i laugh, adjusting my position on blair's lap.
"oh really? i don't know him that well yet, but i do know he's single" blair chuckles, rubbing up and down my leg. "and i didn't want to invite too many people so just my circle is coming, but i'll make a group chat so we can make plans and shit" blair explains.
"y'all ready to leave? our ride is waiting outside" finneas changes the subject, earning a few yeahs.
"should i change?" blair asks me.
"nah you look good" i smile, looking over her simple fit that only she can make look good, my fingers tracing the sleeve on her arm.
