"As you know you were born with a purpose" The All Father is sitting in his throne talking to the child that doesn't look a day over 11 that is standing 20 feet in front of him "that purpose is one you will now live up to"

Freja had earlier that day been helping her  father make the mead for the entire planet, when she was called to the palace by the guards. Her father had always told her that she had a purpose. That she was important but she always just thought that it was something her father just told her. She had no clue that she would end up standing in front of The All Father.

"You Freja Njorddottir may not know this but you are the goddess of love and you will in the end marry my eldest son, future king of Asgard. Thor Odinson" a 12 year old looking boy stands by his fathers side with a smile on his face.

Thor has never been in the company of many girls other than his mother so to meet the woman he is supposed to marry gives him goosebumps. The girl in front of him looks utterly confused but still as beautiful as ever. With her corn blonde hair and shiny blue/green eyes that makes her stand out in the crowd. Her clothing looks like what one of his mother's maid would where around the palace. Thor has a weird need to protect the girl in front of him even though he has never met her before now.

On The All Fathers left side opposite of Thor stands his younger sibling Loki who looks very displeased to be there. Loki looks at the girl in front of them. She is wearing a confused expression on her face which makes her look very adorable in both of the brothers option. She looks afraid as if she wants to know more but is afraid to speak.

"Freja Njordsdottir I welcome you into my home with open arms in hope that you will love my heir with all your heart and that you will teach everyone that comes your way how to do so as well. Freja Njordsdottir, Goddess of Love and fertility you are now home"

Freja, with no idea what fertility is, looks The All Father in the eye. The All Father gives her as small nod giving her permission to speak her mind.

"All Father. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity but I am also very confused as to why I was chosen for this" She is no longer looking him in the eye, instead looking at the ground while in a deep curtsy.

"You dear was destined to do this task from the day you were born. The title as a god is not something you get as time goes on. It's something that hangs over your head the moment you get born and you where born for this" The All Father glances to his wife who stands in the corner of the room. He can tell that she has something on her mind but gives it no second thought as he again puts his attention on the child in front of him.

"I spoke to your father when you were born about this purpose and he as well as the entire council agreed that you shall be here to fur fill your duties as future queen. Now I have to ask you Freja Njordsdottir. Do you wish to stay here with us for the rest of your days and do your duty to our land?"

It's a trick question. Freja is smarter than she may look and she knows what will wait her if she refuses. Her father would most likely never want to see her again and all of the other people that she knows would likely do the same. If what The All Father said is true and if her father really knew about it there is no way that he would ever forgive her if she let it go. Odin is still looking at her as if she is his next meal. She might as well call him Odin now right? Or is that too soon? What do you call a king who will according to him be your future father-in-law?

Not knowing what to answer she gives a short "Yes All Father" and a short nod finally gaining back the courage to look up at the three people standing in front her. Thor looks very pleased with himself as if he just convinced her to say yes while Loki is the complete opposite almost looking at her with a look of pity on his face. He wouldn't want to join this family especially if he had a father that loved him as much as her father seemed to love her.

Frigga walks over from the side and up to Freja giving her a warm and motherly smile supplied with a nice embrace making Freja feel truly welcome for the first time. Frigga gives a nod to her husband and takes Freja by the shoulders. Frigga understands what Freja is going through. When she was young the same thing happened to her, so she is aware of the confusion going through this young child's mind.

Frigga brings Freja to a room about 5 minutes away from the throne room. The room is meant to be a bedroom but it doesn't seem very comfortable. The giant bed is in the corner and covered in baby pink bedding and pillows. Freja never liked that colour. The entire room seems to be filed with pink and red patterns and flowers.

"This will be your chambers when you are here. You are free to leave and go to the town, however we do wish for you to always be here at the palace for meal time, and to sleep. I will leave you now so that you can settle in, but do know that I am always here if you have any questions" Frigga gives Freja a warm smile as she leaves the room.

Freja isn't really sure what to think. She decides to stay in her room for the rest of the night until she is collected for dinner.

She has no idea what is coming.

Freja now look to be a teenager in human years and she has to admit life isn't as bad as she thought it would be. She's moved into Thor's chambers, so she doesn't have to watch that awful pink colour anymore, and she is actually quite happy.

Thor has matured a lot. He's actually become quite the gentleman. They have gotten into a relationship of sorts, and Freja expects that a proposal is on it's way. She's quite exited about it.

Loki has become a bit of a stranger to her. In the beginning they were good friends but it just didn't seem to work out. They bonded about feeling like outcasts but the longer Freja lived there, Loki and her just seemed to drift further apart. She feels bad about it.

One day when Freja is on her way back from the town, an orange square appears in front of her. Frightened Freja falls backwards. Five people walks out of the orange square.

Freja thought that it was one of Lokis tricks but she would soon realise that she couldn't have been further from the truth.

Back at the palace Thor was pacing nervously around. What if she said no? What if she regrets meeting him and ends up spitting in his face? What if-

"Are you going to keep walking around, or are you going relax?" Loki interrupted his thoughts from the doorway.

"Loki, it is not every day that you attempt to propose to you partner. Please have a bit of sympathy?" Thor doesn't think that he has ever been this nervous to do anything. Proposals are not the normal thing to do in Asgard, but Thor knows of Freja's love for Midgard and their traditions. He wanted her to know that he loves more than anything, so he asked his mother and she gave him a family heirloom in the form of a ring.

"You're in love brother. She's in love. You have nothing to worry about"

And that's when the reality got pruned.
