Brahmadev was compelled to give his darshan to Tarkasur because of the Laghottar tap, he had no other option.
"Brahmadev, kya meri tapasya safal huyi ?" Tarkasur asked.

"Mujhe vardaan de Brahmadev, ki mere dwara banayi vyuh rachna ko koi na bhed sake, na akele aur na samuh mei." Tarkasur said.

"Dwarpal ho ya Raja, tiraskar toh kabhi kisi ka nahi karna chahiye. Fir chahe woh swayam Shrishti ke racheta hi kyu na ho." Kartikeya muttered.
He thought for a moment as to how he will make Brahmadev, the creator, realise his mistake. And then an idea came to him mind.
Kartikeya ran towards Brahmadev and quickly came in front of him stopping his way.
"Pranam Brahmadev, aapko akasmat yaha rokne hetu mai kshama prarthi hu. Kintu mere man mei ek jigyasa hai, ek prashn hai. Kripa kar use shaant kare prabhu." Kartikeya said.
"Aisi kaunsi jigyasa hai putra, jo mai prabhu Mahadev se bhet ke baad shaant nahi kar sakta ?" Brahmadev said.
"Shrishti ke racheta hone ke nate, aap mujhe shrishti ke aadhar kahe jane wale pranav shabd Om ka arth samjhane ki kripa kare." Kartikeya said.
"Uchit kaha putra, yeh prashn toh mere arthat Shrishti ke racheta ke liye atyant saral hai." Brahmadev said smiling.
"Toh samjhane ki kripa kare." Kartikeya said.
"Ek baar prabhu Mahadev ne swayam kaha tha ki shrishti ke aarambh mei unke mukh se ek swar prakat huya tha, aur wahi swar Omkar hai." Brahmadev said.
"Aapne mujhe Om ke Rahasya ko nahi, apetu uske utpatti ke baare mei bataya." Kartikeya said. Brahmadev frowned at that.
"Issi liye mai samajhta hu ki shrishti abhi ayogya hatho mei hai. Ab jab tak aap pranav shabd Om ka arth nahi jaan jate tab tak shrishti ki rachna ka dhyan mai swayam rakhunga." Kartikeya said.
Kartikeya raised his hand and an energy barrier formed around Brahmadev, capturing him. The warrior God then sat down and went into meditation, while Brahmadev tried to get out but failed.
"Aayu mei chhote hone par bhi, Kartikeya ne mujhe bandhi bana kar uchit nahi kiya. Ab toh keval Mahadev hi mujhe apne putra ke bandhan se chhuda sakte hai." Brahmadev said.
He sat down and started chanting the name of Mahadev to come and free him from this barrier.
