Clumsiness

I was making my way backstage to soundcheck.
I was walking like I normally do, which apparently isn't very well because before I knew it, I was on the cold cement floor.
I whimpered as I shifted my body to find a scraped knee and a bruised ankle.
"Dammit," I cursed as I inspected the damage which was at his point, inevitable. You would think my body would have adapted to all the injuries by now.
I listened as footsteps approached behind me. Those footsteps just happened to belong to Lauren Jauregui.
"Are you okay, Camz," she said, her voice full of concern.
"Yeah I think so," I replied, glancing up at her worrisome eyes.
She held her hands out and I took them, glad to have the support. I stood up, however to wince in pain and lose my balance again. Only this time, Lauren was there to catch me, her arms scooping me off of my feet as she carried me father backstage. She notified Ally on the way there that I had fallen and she was taking me to the batheroom.
"We're gonna get you cleaned up, babe," she whispered and placed a gentle kiss on my forehead.
When we reached the bathroom, she sat me down on the counter and kissed my cheek.
"I'm gonna go get the first aid kit," she said before she disappeared into the hallway.
She came back clutching a small red box that contained band aids, bandages, antibiotic cream, gauze and medical tape.
"Doctor Lauren," I giggled, watching as she took a wet oaoer towel and ran it over the cuts on my knees to clean it off. She soon after placed a band aid over it and kissed the injured knee gently.
"Kisses are the best remedy," she chided as she ran her fingers along my thighs.
"Well I think my lips hurt," I smirked.
"Not now, Miss Cabello. You have an ankle that needs fixed."
She rolled my pant leg up to examine my bruised ankle.
"It looks sprained, Camzi," she whispered, "do you want me to get some ice?"
"Yes please," I nodded before she disappeared once again, and returned grasping an ice pack.
She slid me farther back on the counter and lifted my leg, placing it on the counter as well.
She gently laid the ice on my said sprained ankle and grabbed my hand.
"Does it still hurt?" she asked.
"A little bit," I replied, "but not much."
"You're so clumsy."
"I know."
She ran her thumb across my hand lightly.
Ten minuted later, she removed the ice and replaced it with a bandage.
"I feel better, so much better, thank you, doc for taking all the ouchies away," I sang the Doc McStuffins song.
She laughed "Such a child."
"Hey! It isn't my fault I have a sister who watches the show."
She raised her eyebrows doubtfully at me.
"Okay fiiine maybe I do watch it. But only a little bit."
"Right. Enough to know the theme song."
"That isn't the theme song, cotton-headid ninny muggins."
"You take that back!" she demanded, showing mock-hurt.
"Never!" I chanted, raising my fist in the air.
"Okay lets get you back to sound check, princess," She said before carrying me back to the stage.
Maybe my clumsiness isn't so bad.
