Absolutely nothing happened all day! I groaned unimpressed as the final bell of the day went off, which told us we were finally free from this hell. Everyone continued to complain about the idea of a new girl joining our class, it got so frustrating the teacher sent a couple of kids out, which doesn't happen often here at all.
I didn't get the fuss about it, I mean, new students? so what? I slowly packed up my things into my bag and was ready to go. I grabbed hold of my bag and started off towards Haruhi who was already headed to the door.
Until Kayla stopped him, placing her hand on his shoulder. I stood still trying to think of the possible reasons she could have for trying to communicate with him, I stood in the crowd of people waiting for Haruhi and Kayla to move as they were rudely blocking the doorway.
"Hey" she started off with a smile, one with hidden... something. I couldn't pick what her smile was laced with, but I could tell it was of no good.
"Hi..." Haruhi seemed hesitant and kept looking at the frustrated crowd trying to go home for the day.
"I just wanted to let you know..." she gave an innocent look, "I'm interested" she finished confidently, as if asking him on a date, but Haruhi was clueless... as usual.
"Interested, in what?" he tilted his head but she just giggled at his innocents and pinched his cheek lightly. I felt my fist clench beside me, what does she think she's doing?!
"interested in you, silly" Haruhi seemed taken back and even more so confused, he looked back over at the crowd, and locked eyes with me. Does he want me to do something? He looked back at Kayla but I couldn't bear to hear whatever he could say, so I rushed out the other door, which I'm surprised no one else in that small crowd did.
I let out small breaths.
I hate her.
I hate her.
I hate her...
I tried to contain my breathing, but I really wanted to punch a wall, I guess I'm just so protective over Haruhi, maybe too protective.
I walked home, I needed air and being in the confinement of a car would just frustrate me even more so. Then again, going home may do the same.
My phone started ringing in my bag so I pulled it out hesitantly.
please don't be Haruhi
don't be Haruhi.
I read the name and let out a soft shaky breath of relief, I answered the phone and placed it beside my ear "My lady, where are you?!" I finally looked around to find myself standing before a small bunch of trees.
"I'm walking home, I'm sorry, I should've texted but it was last second" I spoke softly as if I spoke too loud I'd wake something up, although I don't believe there's anything to be afraid of here. "You should have, yes! God, okay, I'll see you at home" she hung up probably upset I didn't let her know, which was valid.
I put my phone away and watched silently as the trees moved softly with the wind with the smooth whistling noise.
I should head back the way I came, try to find the road home.
I let out a soft sigh and turned my back to the whistling leaves as I headed back in hopefully the right direction. I guess I got lost. Lost track of time definitely.
I started wandering really, I had never really explored the town before, so I had no idea where I was, nor where I was going.
"Hey, Y/n, right?" I turned towards the voice and saw a familiar face walking towards me with a smile, her hair bouncing slightly as she walked.
