Cat hates her birthday.
It is just a day people get to stick their way into her life; literally nobody cared about what she wants. If it is her birthday, she should get to choose how she feels about it. Right? Right? No.
Apparently, well; the people differ. On her birthday she is supposed to quench the needs and whims of those around her. Who want her to respond to the wishes and the happy birthday texts.
Who want her to smile for them when they greet her. Act confused and upset if she does not.
Doesn't matter is the rest of the year, these people are those who either disregard her feelings and personality completely or ones who never speak to her anyway.
Oh and the reverse expectation.
Cat actually liked being there for people some birthdays but... she decided it was hypocritical so she stopped. But some people always have an expectation. Monsters
