Chapter 33: First Steps in Heroics

Breathing in, Izuku could feel the cool night air slip into his lungs as he filled it with air and then exhaled with a small breath made by him which he could see due to the cold night. Ozy walked up behind Izuku and kneeled next to him as they watched Zahra take out a small group of criminals that were doing a drug deal which they had stumbled across while they were out searching during the night. Of course, the thing they were searching for was the base of All For One's operations or at least someone that had some connections to the man since there has been a disturbing shift in the trends of low level criminal activity for the past few weeks which would seem like it would be something due to All Might's presence but looking closely at the data you could see it wasn't connected to the appearance of the symbol of peace. No, instead the drop in crime happened much more intensely than when All Might shows up and it has only been dropping the closer it gets to the start of UA which was the very next day. However, even with all of the searching they have been doing they haven't had any luck in finding the number one villains base of operations and the World Hero Association was getting a bit wary of the man's current capabilities and the future of Japan's society due to the confirmation of All Might's current weakened state.

Of course, All Might wasn't a happy man with the fact that more people knew about his weakened form but accepted it since there wasn't anything he could really do about it. Though, Izuku has hesitated on telling the World Hero Association about the man's quirk, One For All as even All Might had asked Apollo not to tell others. Sadly for All Might, Izuku never keeps really anything from his lovers so they knew on the very first day Izuku had found out but Izuku was indeed hesitating on the World Hero Association matter. Izuku knew that telling the Association would be the right thing to do because having such a quirk unmonitored would be devastating if it were to ever land in the hands of someone with ill intentions and left unchecked but telling the association also ran the risk of someone with ill intentions wanting to control the quirk as well. Even Ozy and Zahra were undecided on if it was a good idea to inform the association either even though they did trust the higher ups they didn't trust the lower ranked members since they already had one incident where something was leaked.

As such, it was decided between the three of them that they would keep it a secret from the World Hero Association for now at least but they were going to force some conditions upon All Might when they talked to him next once the first day of school happened. These conditions of course were the fact that All Might had to alert them of anything regarding One For All, tell them who the next successor was going to be before he handed the quirk over, and to also be a good boy and stop wasting his time limit since he needed to last as long as possible so the World Hero Association could figure what to do about Japan's situation. Overall, it was a situation that Izuku knew would turn Japan into a mess regardless of how much they prepared for it but they could only do so much. Anyway, Izuku came out of his thoughts as he could see that Zahra was finished with the criminals she was dealing with so him and Ozy both jumped down to the street below and moved towards her.

"Let's get them turned over to the police before we call it a night since we haven't found anything that we need so far." Izuku said and both Ozy and Zahra nodded their heads as they indeed had no luck in finding any leads to All For One or any of his men. After dropping the criminals off, we could find Izuku and his lovers at their home as they were sitting down and enjoying a dinner. Looking across from him, Izuku looked at Ozy and said he had some rice on his cheek as he leaned over and wiped it off before eating it but then froze when he realized what he had done as both Ozy and Zahra grinned deviously at him. "Oh, getting bold with your actions today aren't we?" Ozy said and Izuku just rolled his eyes as he hid his face a bit from them as he just tried to ignore their comments. "Just leave me alone!" Izuku wailed as they wouldn't let up but after his complaint they relaxed and just had smirks on their face as they went back to eating while Izuku tried to keep himself calm. Soon the dinner came to an end and it was time to go to bed but Izuku had an ill feeling about the coming days in regards to UA as something about the drop in villains and the fact that nothing could be found on All For One was troubling but for now he knew he couldn't really do anything about it so he had to push it aside.
