The musical ended about two hours ago. Finn hung out at Y/N place, but is now currently home. He looks at himself in the mirror, feeling nervous. 'C'mon Finn, you can do it. Just say that you're bi. They accepted Kurt. There is no way they throw you on the street or something.' Finn wants to come out to his family. After what happened with Rachel and the musical, he feels more comfortable with his sexuality and decided it was a good time to come out.
Finn takes a deep breath and walk towards the living room where his mother, Burt and Kurt is, watching some tv. Kurt is wrapped in blankets, still feeling sick after the treats he got from Coach Sylvester.
"Hey hon, you did great today. We're proud of you." Carole greets him and smiles.
"I can't believe most of you changed cast last minute." Burt added.
"I'm impressed to be honest." Kurt says in a sick voice. "I really wanted to perform though." He sighs.
Finn takes a deep breath again and sits down on an chair next to his family. "I need to say something."
They all look confuse. "Well whatever it is, we listing." Carole reassures.
Finn takes a second to speak. "I'm... bi."
They all look shocked at him. Finn begins to feel nervous. Soon Carole smiles. "Thank you for telling us. I guess it was hard for you, but I'm proud that you're brave enough to tell us."
"Me too." Burt smiles. "I'm not the biggest person with words, but I'm happy you told us." Kurt however still looks surprise.
Finn smiles. "T-thank you." He says excitedly. "Speaking of which, I also have a boyfriend." They all look intrigue. "His name is Y/N. He made me realize it's okay that I like guys."
Carole looks even more intrigue. "That's great. We can we meet him?"
Finn looks surprise. "Umm... I guess I can ask him to join tomorrow's dinner."
"Sure, go ask him." Carole smiles.
Finn smiles back. He stands up and goes to his room. He grabs his phone in his pocket and calls Y/N. After a few seconds, Y/N picks up.
"Hey Finn."
"Y/N, I got great news! I told my family I'm bi and they all accepted!" Finn says excitedly and smiles in disbelief, even though he knew they would accept him.
"That great! You probably feel more relieved now." Y/N smiles at hearing Finn being so joyful.
"That's not the only news. I also told them about you and now they want to meet you." Finn stated. "I thought, maybe you can drop by at my place when we're eating dinner."
Y/N chuckles. "Sure, just say the time and I will be there."
Finn smiles. "Great. I tell them you can come. Love you Y/N."
Y/N scoffs. "Love you too Finny."
Finn hangs up the phone and smiles excitedly. He hears walking behind him and turns around. It's Kurt standing at his door.
"How long did you know?"
Finn knew this conversation was going to happen. "Just accepted and realize it about a month ago, but... never accepted it before." Finn confess.
Kurt nods slowly. "I understand." He take a pause before talking further. "Look, I still love Blaine and my feelings for you is long gone, but... I have to admit, it does sting to be honest."
Finn looks sympathetic and nods slowly. "I understand. Can we move past that and be brothers?"
Kurt hums. "Yes." He turns back. "Just make Y/N happy. Maybe you two and me and Blaine can go on double dates?"
