Chapter 11

 

Zayn’s Pov

 

As we got down the stairs, Kylie whispered in my ear stating, “Want to tell my parents?”

I nodded and smiled as she smiled back at me.

 

While at dinner, Kylie sat next to me and ate quietly. She then squeezed my hand and I knew that was the signal to tell her parents.

Since we were all silent, I figured it was time.

“Umm, Kylie and I have something to tell you,” I began. Her Mom seemed to know where this was going but her Dad went a complete different way.

“Don’t tell me that you are pregnant missy. We already got one coming; we don’t need anot-“ her Dad said.

“Let them speak! Go ahead Zayn,” her Mom expressed smiling back at me.

“Well, Kylie and I are a couple now.”

Just then, Kylie and her parents smiled from ear to ear!

“Thank the dear Lord she isn’t pregnant!” her Dad exclaimed.

“That’s wonderful darling. Now you take care of her Zayn,” her Mom proclaimed.

“Don’t worry ma’am. I’ll treat her like a princess!” I answered.

All I could do was picture us together forever.

Later on, I took Kylie out for dessert. We went to Erma’s, her favorite ice cream parlor. She ordered a chocolate cone with sprinkles and I got the same. We sat and ate in silence but it was a comfortable silence.

Kylie broken the silence but saying, “Thanks for everything tonight.”

“You’re more than welcome,” I replied. I then grabbed her left hand and intertwined our fingers together. After we were done with our ice creams, we drove back to my house. I parked my car in the garage and opened the door for her. We then walked hand in hand to her house just having a normal conversation.

Once we got to her front porch, I knew I had to say goodbye.

“Well love, I’ll see you tomorrow?” I asked. She had another appointment set up for her arm.

“Yea, I’ll see you tomorrow,” she replied.

She then wrapped her arms around my neck in a hug. I placed my hands around her waist and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

“Goodnight Zayn,” she said.

“Goodnight sweetie,” I replied.
