Detective Gongchan

Part one: Missing!

Tomorrow was going to be the first time in weeks that the members and I get a day off. I was looking forward to trying a cool packaged food item from the United States I recieved from an international fan at our fanmeet in Seoul earlier today.

"I can't wait to try this tomorrow!" I said.

"What is it? It looks delicious," Sandeul said. His eyes widen as he leans in closer towards the package.

"No hyung. This is mine. I already gave you my last pepero box earlier today. Stop being greedy."

Sandeul turns away from the box and looks at me with a pouty face.

"Channie-ah, don't you want your hyung to have strength for our next promotion? Just give me a lit-"

"No. This is mine. Also your aegyo doesn't work on me since I'm the cutest member."

I pull the box away from his head and I stick my tongue out at him. He gives me one last pout before walking off back to his room. I sit down at the dining table and read the letter the fan attached to the gift.

Dear Gongchan,
My Hangul is not that great so please bear with me. You're my favorite member of B1A4! Don't tell the other members though. I'm from the United States and I brought you these snacks. They are called "Poptarts". I know Korea doesn't have them so I thought it would be fun for you to try!

How sweet! Of course I'm her favorite member. hehehe. I've never had these "Poptarts" before. The box says that they are S'mores flavored. I didn't know what S'mores were but it looks like it has chocolate and I love chocolate.

Someone put their hand on my head and leans over my shoulder.

"Channie-ah, what are you doing?"

It's Jinyoung. He tries to read my fan letter. I fold the letter up, hunch up my shoulders, and hold the letter against my chest to hide it.

"Just reading some fanmail. I'm gonna try this box of "poptarts" tomorrow. A fan from the states gave it to me!" I said.

"Poptarts? Does it pop when you eat it?" Jinyoung asks.

"I don't know. Guess I'll find out tomorrow. hehe." I chuckled. "You got any plans for tomorrow?"

"No, I'm just going to write some music in the dorm. Maybe go down to the studio." He replies.

"Alright hyung. I think I'm going to bed now. I'll see you in the morning!"

"Night Channie!" says Jinyoung.

I yawned. I was pretty tired from today's schedule. I look around and everyone else was back in their rooms except Jinyoung who was writing in his notebook. I hide the box under a beige sweater and hid it on a shelf. Better keep this away from Sandeul, I thought to myself. I'll eat this first thing tomorrow morning. I retired to my room dragging each foot after the other before falling onto my bed like a tree on the forest floor. After a few minutes of hearing Baro sing along (or at least try) to "Uptown Funk" from his room I fell fast asleep.

I woke up the next day and looked at my alarm clock. 1:00 PM. Aish. I slept in. I went to brush my teeth. All the other members had already woken up. Baro and Sandeul were arguing over a board game, CNU was online buying clothes for his family dog, and Jinyoung was composing songs on his guitar. I tread over to where I stashed the poptarts.

"EHHHH?!" I excalimed.

The sweater was gone and so was the box.
