It all starts today

9/29/21- 10/1/21

Sonic was thinking about something.

'I can't believe I'm doing this.' she thought.

Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Amy, Cream and Rouge were in school and Sonic was on her way to GUN.

She's the Ultimate Lifeform.

GUN knew Eggman would figure it out eventually so had her work for them but hide it.

When she got there she put her jacket on and headed to Towers' office and saw him looking at her.

Then they went to his office and sat down.

"You remember what I asked you?" Towers said.

"Let you put me to sleep, have Eggman find me and me work for him." Sonic said with her arms crossed.

He nodded.

"Good."

"When is it?" she asked.

"Today."

She sighed but nodded.

"On or off?" she asked meaning her communicator and jacket.

"Off to hide it."

She nodded.

"You're gonna need Rouge back for this."

"Already done. Topaz told her we need her back for something and she said she'd be here after school."

She nodded again.

"You telling her or no?"

"No. We thought you were just-"

"Just a copy of me but you know I'm the real thing." she said and he nodded.

"Time?"

"Now."

She looked at him with an eyebrow up.

"Now? When I have school? I thought you'd let me have at least until lunch but whatever." she said.

"We don't know when Eggman will be here so just to be safe."

She sighed but nodded.

"Fine."

"Good. Now follow me too the room."

Then they headed to a room where Sonic was going to be in until Eggman finds her.

"Alright, lay down and I'll give you a shot that'll get you to sleep until he comes." Towers said and she nodded and laid down.

Then he injected it and she slowly started to dose off.

"Are you sure this is a good idea sir?" Topaz asked.

"I don't want to do this either Topaz but we all know he'll figure this out eventually and soon." he said and she nodded.

"Rouge will be here at about 4:30. She has an after school thing she can't miss." she said and he nodded.

Then they split up.

When it was 4:30 Rouge and Topaz were at Towers' office.

"So what'd ya need me for sir?" Rouge asked.

"Something is going to happen soon and we need a spy like you for this." Towers said and she nodded.

"And what am I going to do about school?" she asked.

"I said you had something going on with your family and can't leave."

She nodded.

"OK. I'm sure Tails will help me with it when I get back. What about Sonic?"

"She has a feeling Eggman is doing something big so is taking about a week off, maybe a little longer or sooner." he said confusing her.

"She'd tell Tails and Knuckles wouldn't she? I mean they are Team Sonic."

"She wants to be alone for this to be safe."

She nodded understanding.

"Is that it sir?"

"Yes, you're dismissed. Work with Topaz like before."

They smiled and nodded.

Then they got up and Rouge headed home wondering what was going on and wondering if it had something to do with Sonic.
