Daniella's POV.
Dan, hurry up or you're gonna be late!! I don't think you'd want you teachers' first Impression of you to be a late student."
"You'd be suprised..." I mumble under my breath as I grab a chocolate granola bar and rush out of my house.
"What was that, hon?" My mom questions with a smile plastered across her face.
"Nothing," I reply.
My mom sighs. "Isn't South Carolina such a beautiful place?" I glance at the grass and colorful flowers outside the car window while struggling to get my all-black converse on my feet.
"Yeah, I guess.."
"Oh, come on! Don't be such a bad sport Daniella." We pull up to the school.
"Listen sweetheart," she turns to face me now, her hands still placed firmly on the wheel. "I know how hard this whole moving-away-from-your-friends thing is for you, but-"
"Uh, NO, Actually you don't." I cut her off and stumble out of the car before she can say anything else. I hear a "okay, well goodbye honey have a good day!" Once I walk a little ways to the front of the school. Some boys on my left side snicker. I ignore my mom and pretend that I don't know her.
I was going to school.
