I still remember those words you uttered to me by the water fountain, they were sharp and piercing, colder than any ice and hotter than any fire I'd ever felt. I remember those words you told me, they always come back to me. Your voice so faint so out of reach, how I long to hear it again hear your voice see your face. Where once upon a time thinking of you was joyous, it now leaves me in despair. Those words you whispered to me at the water fountain

"We should end this."

"End us."

"I am saying this only because I treasure our memories, they are my most precious moments I own."

"But I realize when we are together it's suffocating"

"for both of us"

"Understand how much I love you"

"I know you do too.

"I can't live in a world without you, and you can't live without me."

"We need time to grow, so we can be our best versions."

"I want to grow, so we can be our best around each-other"

"So let's do our best"

"this isn't goodbye"

"We will meet again"

Those lies you uttered with a smile on your face, I was on the verge of tears and all I could do was nod. Those stupid lies you told me. Your stupid voice. You shattered me into a million different pieces that vanished before I could put them back together. You were my reason to wake up. Now the sunlight that lit up my life was gone. My world was ever so cold and ever so silent.

I miss you.
